I'd actually like to know the rule on this. If the ball is in the basket below the cylinder but his finger is still on the ball, does it count? Like what actually constitutes a made basket? Simply being below the rim or below the rim without touching?

I think it only matters if it is touching his hand of not. So it doesn’t matter if in cylinder if he was touching it…no basket

That was the closest one I ever witnessed and never saw that play at the end of the game…a dunk
