Figured we need a topic ahead of the draft. His floor probably isn't very low anyway, but which club would limit his ceiling the most?

PHI and DET - both teams have established starters. ... Honorable mentions to TB, BUF, NYJ and MIA. ...

If you are including all teams then I go with Giants with the Jets next. Course if a team with a stud RB were to take him say like the Eagles well then they leap frog the New York teams for worse landing spot. Now if your talking likely landing spots there would be some debate which teams to include. Looks like the Raiders are set to take him judging from remarks coming out of Vegas, course could be a smoke screen. I would love him on the Raiders. Bears are mentioned and I'd be OK with that even though Swift is on the roster, Cowboys would love that, Steelers? Yes please. Jags? Oh boy not to sure about that one. Bengals? Not likely to happen, won't be a fan of it. Bronco's? I be happy with that. Probably others to consider.

I'm going with the Jags because they never seem to have it together and could limit his whole career.

Philly, he'd be limited by Barkley only for a couple of years, for example.

Washington, Chiefs and Chargers may want a RB, don't feel they are positioned to draft Jeanty, but would love it if he went to Chargers (even though I have stock in Harris), Chiefs? Yes sir. Washington? Be OK but not excited about it.

Any place that isn't Vegas or Dallas. Anywhere else has an incumbent on the depth chart and it'll screw either or both of them

Except Denver.. forgot about them no decent incumbent there either.. but I'd really hate that

And from that list I only see 4 real possibilities considering Jeanty goes top 10. So the other 3 team listed would have to give up a lot of capital.

Not on the list is JAX. I doubt they take him but it would not be good for Jeanty imo.

Depth is the first aspect but what about OL?
Who has the worst OL from that list?
Depth and RB options is the obvious factor but OL should have some consideration

Do you consider Warren a incumbent at RB1 or depth RB?

I'd say unfettered access to 25+touches trumps all. But yes, those factors would come into play if we want to discuss which landings spots where undisputed #1 touches is a given would be better/ worse

He proven enough, imho, to be considered an incumbent, yes. At the absolute least, he'd be a big thorn in the side that would eat into touches

And even if he was shoved to the side, it's still not great for dynasty overall, as now the Warren owner just lost a weekly starting RB

I see a lot of people mocking Jeanty to the Jags. Strange when the jags have so many needs + they have Etienne and Bigsby unless they are working on an Etienne trade. Last year of his contract I'm not sure he will fetch much on the trade market

Seems like a stretch. Guess the logic would be Jeanty would be a serious upgrade for the running game with Etienne as depth for a year and that would take a lot of pressure off of Lawrence.

it 'fits' as in the guy SHOULD be an upgrade to the existing so I guess I get the speculation. But their issues are deeper than a RB- especially given that the one's on the roster right now ain't terrible to begin with.

And no, I can't imagine Ettienne would bring much back on the trade front. one year left on a contract, coming off a crap season where he couldn't keep Bigsby on the bench. Probably a day 3 pick would be my best guess.

I think it'd be a big mistake for the Jags, and i would think that Liam Coehen, given his success with guys like Kerwyn WIllaims with the Rams and Bucky Irving at Tampa, is probably more of that Shannahan/Kubiak/McVeigh mindset of waiting to the mid rounds to take a guy who fits the system- Assuming he doesn't think Ettiene is a fit already- which I think he should fit great in that system

I know I've done it but it has more to do with Jeanty just being the best player at that spot and the Jags having two young DTs. Its a terrible spot for Jeanty, though.

The problem with mocking the Jags is that they have young, (below) average players all over their roster. They just need talent anywhere they can get it. Etienne has had 1 good year, 1 good fantasy year, 1 missed year from injury, and 1 bad year. I could see the Jags moving on but maybe not with their rd1 pick.

The Jags could use Travis Hunter more than anyone. Not how it works, unfortunately. If Tet McMillans draft stock was actually high then Id mock him to the Jags

The Bucs in general just ran the ball more than the Jags generally do. The issue on the Jags imo is that Anton Harrison is a bad run blocker (57.0 PFF) and he was their 1st round pick project who is only 23. Not the type of player you kick into Guard. From a fantasy perspective, you'd like to see a vet in there at RT and Harrison as the backup who earns his spot eventually. The Jags should draft a Guard but thats a rd2/rd3 thing. They need a CB but thats probably also a rd2/rd3 thing.

Maybe just not overthink things and take Graham at DT. Offense is still a mess imo

Well at #5, with only Ward, Hunter and Carter as surefire locks to be gone before they pick, they could be looking at the best/second best OL tackle or guard, the second best EDGE, the best DL- all of which are positions of dire need, for them I think. Shit make a deal with Denver, sounds like they're willing to move up, bend Peyton over and use no KY jelly, move back and stockpile- still get a really good RB at 20somehting or in the second
