I’m just going to post a hot take that if the Pistons can get to actual contending for a title that Cade Cunningham has a punchers chance of being a face of the league. Probably not solo as THE face, but he could be one of a few until THE next face emerges.

At least Barkley was clearly the leader of his team, so if you liked the team he would be your favorite. But you're a Warriors fan and you pass up on several other guys on the squad to pick Draymond?

To me 'face of the league' is who even your grandmother has heard of, who gets the commercials, who drives ratings. LeBron and Curry are no longer in the MVP convo but they are still the 2 drivers of ratings and the most famous NBA players. Luka might become that when those 2 are gone, or maybe Wemby will.
