He was one of 6 players I had pegged as great values but was the only one I felt the Bucs would actually draft. Still lots of good value on the board imoGood pick. Wasn’t my target for this round, but was on my list.

can someone tell me why Donte Thornton is not rated highly... i understand we have seen other players lke him in the past not succeed...
But athleticism is the one thing that can not be taught... i will take players like him all the time because they have ceilings of actual eliteness...
for the most part, i would rather draft a potential stud than someone who at best would be a WR3...
Had you taken Knight, I probably still would have traded up for Paul. Bucs probably need a LB next to Lavonte David and one to replace David at some point.Raiders needed a LB that can cover, so for me it was between Knight and Paul.
Went with Paul because he instantly upgrades the ST and is a couple years younger.
Thornton's hands are suspect. Really didn't turn out in college as much as we had hoped. He's got the tools though. He came on this year and that really helped but was never able to put together on a consistent bases in college. Little bit of a letdown compared to expectations coming out. Proved this year he can be a deep threat. Blossomed late, not consistent though.
i understand all that... but in the 4th round... i would take him or similar every single time... id rather have him than some picked in the third round... sure, some of them may hit...but as blind as all of us are, id generally rather take things that cant be taught over things that can...
Yeah inconsistency is definitely his issue. Maybe he can can blossom and get some great coaching. 6'5" and big play threat is very enticing for teams but if you don't have good hands...it means little to nothing. Buffalo can draft him and Josh Allen can just throw bombs to him lolThornton's hands are suspect. Really didn't turn out in college as much as we had hoped. He's got the tools though. Yeah, I think Kyle Williams might be mid to late rd3. I just wasn't looking at WR for either team Im drafting for right now.Kyle Williams and Riley are the two guys I would die for Tenn to land in round 4
