My prediction: they wait for a QB to get twisted up and hurt, then they'll ban the formation someway
Correct me but wasnt Mark Andrews under center when the Ravens ran the tush push?

Yup.
Maybe that's the move more teams copy going forward too. Bigger guy with hands taking the snap

Wanna say the Bills too used someone other than Joshy on a similar play.

Checked their stats and nothing stood out. A handful of carries for Samuel, a few for Coleman/Shakir, but everything else and all TDs were Josh/RBs

I definitely think that is a thing teams will try to do.

Mahomes got hurt on a sneak play a few years ago.

Chiefs don’t run them much, but pretty sure they used Kelce when they did.

Taught the girls to play Risk today, oldest quit right away, 5yr old said she would just play for both spots. Figured I'd still destroy her, but I was very wrong. Within 15mins she had me under more pressure than a Palestinian checking their pager

Have you heard of this? Gastineau confronting Favre?

Gastineau has now sued ESPN for releasing this clip for $25mil
Gastineau must have CTE or some disorder. Even Favre seemed stunned. How can Favre "owe you" a sack record? Is there phone booth or DeLorean available to go back in time?
For the first time EVER, i felt bad for Favre.

well it's all back to that singular play where Strahan broke the record, I don't know if Favre has ever come out and said yes or not, but there's certainly a compelling argument to be made that he handed that sack to Strahan intentionally.

I saw something about this a while ago, but Gastineau was able to market himself as the single season sack leader on the sports card circuit and get booked to do signings. When he played in the league, players weren't making millions so he relied on that income, which is why he held such anger towards Favre for appearing to not even attempt to scramble or throw it away, allowing Strahan to "steal" his sack record.

I would disagree.
Only because i was force-fed watching too many Packers games. As much as I disliked the guy, he was a gamer. Always looking to make a play and sling it. Ultra competitive.

Watching the Strahan sack, it looks like Favre was to fake left and then roll to his right. But Strahan came unablocked as Favre was turning upfield. Strahan either read the play perfectly, or someone missed an assignment. The non scrambling Favre gave himself up.

This is the part people think Favre did on purpose to let him get the record.

Naked bootleg to an unblocked Strahan...if Brett was truly a gamer for every snap, he would've killed that shit in the huddle

So i take it youre in the Gastineau camp?

Always had a rivaly grudge against Favre, but as much as he liked to sling it, he didnt like to get hit. Looking at the timing, Favre's choices were get hit by a full speed Strahan or dive.

Favre had zero time to wind up and chuck it.

Don't care one way or the other, was just explaining his side of everything

Records will be broken, whether it was Strahan or someone else, only really matters to a few people

Yeah I'm kinda in the same vein of thought as Monkey is on that one. the grissled vet that Favre was would've know that he needed to slide protection that way, or get out of that play. I think it's more of a stretch to give Favre the benefit of the doubt than it is to assume he knew exactly what he was doing.

Having said that, I don't give a rats arse either way, and I think Mark G probably just need to accept the fact that he doesn't have the record anymore regardless as to the particulars as to why.
