Appreciate it. I admit I don't watch a ton of college ball because I don't have a team. I plan on sitting down and watching all three on the flat-screen today and tomorrow.

It cracks me up that some want to call McCarthy a "bus driver" because he wasn't required to throw the ball a lot. Maybe they forgot the early Gibbs years when the offense was John Riggins for 3.5 yards and a cloud of dust and a whole bunch of out patterns to Monk.

Maybe he is a bust, history says two or thee of the top QBs could be. I don't understand ragging on a guy for doing what his coach wanted him to do.

I'm not down on JJ. He's starting to pull ahead of Drake for me. I'm just super high on Jayden. Listening to Sheehan today. We could be a top 5 rushing team with him.

Sorry but you don’t draft a McCarthy at 2 overall, the guy had 18 pros on his team . That makes him a bus driver because if he was all that then Harbough would have turned him loose

No doubt Jayden is a dual threat QB. I have said all along the thing that scares me about him is his size and him taking big hits. If he can run and get down.

Do we know to what extent the cheating had on his success?

Did they know defensive signals as well?

I dont know as I am not a Big 10 guy.

Clearly JJ is talented, but I am curious what Michigan actually knew.

They should have been banned from the NCAA playoffs due to the cheating.

Unless Jayden is really Josh Allen/Lamar Jackson special, he will HAVE to develop pocket presence. We've seen Kapernick, Murray, RG3 , etc look promising, then get figured out and get put on the shelf. JJ also needs to develop more pocket presence but looking at that video posted, he's taking what's there and moving the chains, minimizing turnovers, and winning when it counts. Besides, let's not downplay him having Mclaurin and Ekler at his disposal

JJ looks more pro ready than JD or Maye. My choice is still maye though

Project is a broad term and can be used to fit any argument. So yes, he is a project, but my projection of his game manager label is a compliment. I think QBs like Goff, and Tannehill have come up big as game managers, although Herbert is God tier at everything from footwork to anticipatory throws, he's shown he's more so a game manager and not quite Burrow, Allen or Mahomes yet. To completely discredit JJ and say he's unworthy to go at 2, is the same type of thinking that allowed Trubisky to be drafted over Mahomes and for Mahomes to just keep dropping. He was erratic, impatient, came from a questionable offense, and although he had a rocket made poor decisions with throws......hmmmm
