Mahomes should have been screaming at Toney for fucking up. Again. Not at the refs for making the correct call.

And even before that I think its time to take a few lessons from Bill Belichick and just shut down the talk to the media. We're on to next week. Not sure we need an Evil Kermit WWE style heel turn for Mahomes.
I do think we're going to see the receivers overhauled next offseason. Last offseason had the trenches as the major priority with the big FA signing at OT and a draft pick at OT and DE. I could see a draft of WR, TE, DT next year or maybe WR, WR, DT.

I don't like how Mahomes and Reid handled themselves. Seems like most on this thread agree.
Frankly, if this was a QB on a shitty team that hadn't won a few Super Bowls in recent years, this would be a non-issue. When you sit atop the mountain, many are waiting for you to fail. Of course I love seeing the Chiefs losing it but this issue will fade pretty quickly as the league marches toward the playoffs.

Meh. I think for the most part the family bullshit put out by his wife and brother(surprisingly even the mom) has missed him, so I don't see it as that big a deal overall. Guess we'll see as the years go on...

It would have made a lot more sense to go straight to the source rather than bitch at the guys who made the right call. But I'm sure Mahomes doesn't want to upset his teammate, so he found a scapegoat.
I'll rip the refs if they screw up, but they didn't and Mahomes and Reid both know it.
