I hated MJ with a passion. I hated Larry Bird even more so! But they were incredible players

Exactly. I was coaching high school basketball during MJ's prime years and used to complain that he was ruining the game.

I'm trying to teach them to play like a team and move the ball...they all wanted to be MJ.

I used to tell them, in some gym somewhere, the next MJ is working on his game...but he ain't in this gym, so we're going to play like a team and pass the ball around.

Little did I know that about that same time "the next MJ" was in a gym at Lower Merion high school. lol

Another change I would like to see in the IST is the groups. I think mixing up 1 or 2 of the groups with east and west teams would be cool. We don't need East vs West in the finals here.

Like teams like Miami, Charlotte, Orlando, and Atlanta can be in a group with teams like Memphis/Minny

Teams like Chicago, Cleveland, Indy, and Milwaukee can be in a group with the texas teams for example

Im sure they will keep tweaking things. They have the finals on a night when there is no football but next year college will have 2 more weekends of games. I don’t see them going up against that.

For sure, truth though? The next game means more than this one did. It was good to see him at least act like he cares though. Hell of a performance.
