Remaing games:

Carolina:
TB - NO - ATL - GB - Jax - TB

NE :
Chargers - Steelers - KC - DEN - Buffalo - NYJ

Arizona:
Pittsburgh - bye - SF - Bears - Eagles - Seahawks

Bears:
Minnesota - bye - Det - Cle - Ari - ATL - GB

Carolina one possible win vs Atl.
NE zero possible wins.( after yesterdays game, the punt at NYG 38 with a missed chipshot fg to tie it at the end of the game seals the tank is on)
ARI has one possible win at 50/50 vs us.
Bears,I see possible wins vs Ari and Atl.......
The way the Bears dealt with Detroit, that's a possible win as well. I also see the Bears giving GB fits.

We just luckily won a game without scoring a touchdown. And that only happened because Dobbs is terrible and Jefferson was out. With a healthy Cousins and JJ...we probably lose that game by 3 scores.

I don't think we should be looking ahead at other games thinging we are gonna beat anyone.

The best QB this team has been in the last couple seasons is Sam Howell. And he's not exactly stellar.

Now, I didn't say Bears would win, I inferred those two games should be competitive, more so than the op suggested.

We will see soon enough,, the best qb we will see is Goff or an improved Love( who is still questionable to me).........
Goff does not fare well away,Cle has a nobody in DTR ,Ridder if hes still starting,Murray and then Love.......

I dont think @NCChiFan is too far off on his analysis of us winning a couple of those.........

After this week's bye, here is the remaining schedule:

Lions
@Browns
Cardinals
Falcons
@Packers

The only game I see where it should be a fer-sure win is at home against the woeful Cardinals. However, I'm happy to also say there's no longer a fer-sure loss remaining either. Granted, the Lions and Browns will be the favorites and it shouldn't shock any of us if we lost either or both of those games. Still, in our last meeting with the Lions we outplayed them for 56 minutes, maybe this time around we can put together a full 60 minute effort. And the Browns seem to have had the wind taken out of their sails since Watson went out, at least offensively. Yet they have a monster defense and that alone could do the trick for them. At least now it can be said that we have a chance. I'd list the Falcons game as a true toss up. On a neutral field they probably would be favorites, but our HFA kinda evens that out. And of course Green Bay is Green Bay. We should be able to hang with them, but we seem to be allergic to beating this team. And they have been playing better of late, plus they're suddenly in the thick of the playoff hunt, so I can't say at the moment I feel good about this one.

I think Ari and Atl are my two win games.....
Cleveland probably not,but Garrett has a bad shoulder problem but wants to keep playing, anytime it could be season ending.....and with a possible 3rd string qb for Cle,we maybe able to play them tough.
Detroit, another probably not,but we played them damn tough there......
GB,ya its probably a no win there too,Love has an improved offense,so who knows.....

But Ari and Atl still will be my two wins I see.

Love is questionable but Flus made him look like an All Pro with a weak defense that sat back and did nothing.

Goff carved us up in a matter of seconds at the end of the game.

The defense has improved lately but now the offense is playing like trash.

2 wins the rest of the way is probably best case scenario.

After week 13:

1. Bears via Carolina
2.NE
3. Ari
4. Washington
5. Chicago

Carolina still looks absolutley horrible........their remaining games:
@NO - Atl - GB - @Jax - TB
1 possibke win,vs Atl or TB.......

Not sure if they win a 2nd game if NE tales no.1 spot.....

Bears lose to Detroit we should jump back ahead of the Commanders.

The Cardinals thrashing of the Steelers was huge, putting them two games ahead of the Panthers in the race to the bottom. And now I'm thinking I was premature in calling that game against them a sure win for us.

We're going to win 1-2 more games of the last 5...Who knows which one(s)...Each of our opponents is flawed in their own special way. I'd be amazed if we won 3 because even though our opponents are sus, we're just not that good. *shrugs* Still better than the hopeless feeling I had a after the Denver game.

Since Arizona won we’re going to have a top two pick almost assuredly.

Not sure either, but with each passing week it's looking more and more like the Pats aren't gonna win another game this year.
And speaking of the Pats:

Long article, but the purpose for the link is this:

The New England Patriots have completely cratered and are projected to likely finish with a lower strength of schedule than Carolina. If the two teams finish with the same record, the Patriots would receive the better selection.

At least we now know how any tiebreaker would play out, and it's not in our favor. Next to the Bears, the team I'll be rooting for the most the rest of this season is the hapless Patriots.

On top of the Parties season injury list is Rhamondre Stevenson......as bad as Mac Jones played this season(who has been autrocious),his backup Zappee has been just as bad......I see Carolina winning a fluke game before NE....

Ill probably cry if they do......lol

Hold back them tears Wood!!! It would be far from the end of the world if the Pats have the 1st pick and we get the 2nd. Poles would still be in a great position to take a player he actively seeks or could still acquire some solid draft capital in a trade, just maybe not quite as much. For instance, if Poles has a chub for Harrison, Jr my guess is he'd still be there at #2. The Pats would undoubtedly use their pick on either Williams or Maye. And that leads us to scenario #2. Poles would still be able to draft a highly rated QB if that's the position he's really after. I see very little downside if it does turn out we end up drafting 2nd. Now if somehow the Panthers won enough to leave us at #3 or higher, then we might end up talking about what could have been. But I'm comfortable in believing they'll finish no better than the 2nd worst.

Nah,Carolina wont win two more.....

Love the thinking tho......NE is not going MHJ,they are going qb with no.1 or 2 or trade out for an abundance........if we get no.1 and want MHJ,I can see the scenario of trading with NE and tell them we got offers for our no.1.( which is liklely anyways)

The kicker would be Arizona at 3......theres no way they go qb,unless Murray is traded and that will happen before the draft begins.....if they keep Murray( which I think happens cause of his contract),they likley take Harrison.

All the pundits are really talking Harrison up......even as best wr to ever come out.....

If we take a WR at 1 or 2, I will kick a puppy.
I'm hoping we can trade 1 for pick 3 and grab Harrison there. Perhaps with the trade down we can pick up an extra 2nd round pick this year, which should be a high second.

If this was our only 1st round pick, not only would I join you, I'd throw in kicking a kitten as well. And as a diehard Bears fan who almost always wishes for us using our top pick on the trenches, for me to say I'd be dandy with the Bears taking Harrison Jr with our #1 selection is almost historic. The last time I wanted the Bears to draft a WR with our 1st pick goes all the way back to the '93 draft when I rooted for them to snag Curtis Conway. But this kid is special and he will elevate our passing game regardless who we have lining up under center. Plus we'd still have another 1st rounder to address the trenches.
