That means Verlander wants to go there and probably nix a Dodger trade because the Dodgers farm system is # 2 , Astros is # 27 and Dodgers are loaded with $$$.
They can have Rich Hill.
what sweeping the Rangers does to a team LOL
MLB network is hyping it up as more what he and Choi bring to locker room and dugout than on the fieldThey can have Rich Hill.
From Evan Grant:
10:00 a.m: While the day will revolve around Justin Verlander and whether he moves or not, I think it’s becoming more and more likely the Rangers are done on the pitching front. By adding Max Scherzer and Jordan Montgomery to the rotation and Chris Stratton to the bullpen, there will be a trickle down effect on the middle of the bullpen, which is where the Rangers need it most.
In all likelihood, part-time starter Cody Bradford, who has really distinguished himself as capable, slides back into a middle-innings role. One of Martín Pérez, Dane Dunning or Andrew Heaney probably also joins him for now. When Nathan Eovaldi returns from the IL, another one of that trio slides into middle relief. In effect, the Rangers add two starters to the rotation and three pitchers to the bullpen. That’s the net of all those pitching moves.
I think if the Rangers are checking around right now, it’s about catching depth in the event that Jonah Heim doesn’t return from his wrist injury. The catching market is thin, but it’s worth investigating.
I’d be surprised if Foscue is still a Ranger this evening.
They haven’t done near enough as far as the bullpen is concerned. They need at least 1 maybe 2 relieversRonnie Milsap saw this last week…

Probably not but the bullpen has not been improvedI don’t see them doing anything else at this point
Tigers looking for 3B man. Others would have to be involved so may not happen now.Who’s he gonna fetch….?
Foscue or OrnelasTigers looking for 3B man. Others would have to be involved so may not happen now.
For some reason I think they still will. They made some moves towards wanting to win but to stop now would be to stop short.I don’t see them doing anything else at this point
Evan describes them not doing more as "staying in" vs. "going all in." LolFor some reason I think they still will. They made some moves towards wanting to win but to stop now would be to stop short.
