You realize we have been below average for over a month... right?Average is about as worse as it can be. No good draft pick and dont make the playoffs.
Hard to think of who's a better closer in the game right now. Maybe the guy on the Mets who's out for the year? Here is a fun fact that you can use the next time you're at a party. Since Camilo Doval was called up for good in September of 2021, he has won 3 NL Reliever of the Month awards. That's 9 baseball months since then and he has won 33% of those awards.
Doesn’t being out for the year pretty much eliminate you from the conversation for “right now”?Hard to think of who's a better closer in the game right now. Maybe the guy on the Mets who's out for the year?
Kind of my point actuallyDoesn’t being out for the year pretty much eliminate you from the conversation for “right now”?
I know it is still "early" in the season, but I did not expect the Diamondbacks to be tied for first in the division with the Dodgers. And the Padres really are underperforming. That team cannot seem to buy a break.View attachment 330417
3 game win streak would be really nice right now...
Pirates and Orioles both 15 games over .500 !!!
ChiSox 9 games under...![]()

I wouldn't say it is surprising, especially for the Padres. That franchise seems snake bit and buying a championship does not always work. They've still got time to pull it out though.Agreed.
Pads collapse is very surprising.
Yeah the Dodgers seem to be underperforming expectations this year and while the DBacks were considered to be on the rise, this seems kind of accelerated. Kind of like the Rangers, they were supposed to be pretty good but now they have the best record to this point in franchise history.I know it is still "early" in the season, but I did not expect the Diamondbacks to be tied for first in the division with the Dodgers.
