I swear they were not there. Not sure how I missed it. Went over it like 3 times, sheesh! We did get a MNF game.
And three short weeks on account of Thursday’s and Saturdays.
Only one chance at an outside game in the cold though. Which is nice.
Meh. I am still not impressed with Laporta. Also I hope they dont run Little Mo into the ground. I have high hopes for him.![]()
2023 Detroit Lions rookie minicamp observations: Sam LaPorta puts on a show
Sorting through our observations from the Detroit Lions' open practice at rookie minicamp.www.prideofdetroit.com
He made the Pro Bowl playing 16 games on it. He even stated on that article that scarring since has dulled the pain. I am not worried about it this year. I do think he may retire years sooner than we expect though. With Ragnow disclosing he played through a foot injury last season, along with stating that there isn’t enough good tissue available for a surgical repair, but that he’s planning on playing through the “brutal” pain again this year, it seems that Detroit’s Cinderella season may be over before the season kick off in September. Ah, well, it’ll give something for the pundits to debate for the next couple of months. On the bright side, the Lions could have drafted his replacement, but seem confident enough to go forward with Frank at center.
I like it a lot. He can play Guard too so it gives us much more options. Hellapudgy Fatguy better watch himself. As you know I am also not a fan of our draft pick at that position.Ifedi will be better swing tackle than Matt Nelson. Don't hate that signing.
We have the money and the need. Goff was not on the list he mentioned during that podcast though.Hopkins, anyone?
