What do you guys' think? Do we roll with Slye or does RR bring in someone else. Slye was unbelievable in the Eagles win on Monday night but had a huge, missed FG against the Giants that ended up in a tie game which could have cost us the playoffs.

IMO I stick with Slye this year.

Who cares about individual kicks? Slye was 83%, 22nd among full-time kickers. That is particularly bad because he was only asked to kick 6 times beyond 50 yards. Bring in competition.

I see your point but Slye has the big leg to get the long Fg's but he is inconsistent. Never mind individual kicks I mean the Eagles game. He made some big-time kicks in that game. That shouldn't be overlooked. He has the leg for touchbacks too. Hopkins was the same way. Who do you bring in for competition?

Literally anybody is competition. It lets people know they are not safe and they need to improve.

well, the opportunity didn't present itself for the 50+ yarders. Yes the miss XP's are a problem. Just like Dallas' kicker Maher. He had a disastrous playoff game with the misses xp's. I thought Slye's job would be safe.

You miss the point about 50 yarders. Slye was 83% with few misses coming from afar. Had he needed to kick more from deep, 83% would have been more justifiable.

If they want to bring a known NFL kicker fine but not guys like Blewitt.
