They have benched him lately down the stretch and seemingly play better without him.....

Yes or no?

Vote and more importantly......discuss.

Sort of depends on what they can get. Seems like his value would be pretty low right now. Kind of how I feel about trading Jordan Poole, to unload that contract you'd have to attach assets.

Would Atlanta move John Collins straight up for Randle?

Doubt the Warriors would move Dray for Randle, plus Dray would have to opt in to allow the trade.

Poole for Randle?

Aaron Gordon?

Why would the Knicks want Poole for Randle?

Seems like an ATL move. Good fit for Collins in NY.

No they would not move Dray for Randle.

No.

No.

Only one that makes sense imo is the Collins for Randle.

Just trying to find 1 for 1s in the same salary bracket next season. "Why would" comes into play a lot with the Knicks for moves they did make, lol.

Yeah I don't think I could hope for them being that dumb in this case. Maybe Poole + assets, although not sure where Randle fits. We need the same thing every team needs, 2 way players who can shoot.

If the names are John Collins Dray Poole, etc… then definitely not. Randle is better than what people are saying here.

Those are the names that match salary without adding a player that would be duplication with Brunson at a quick glance. Bigger deals could widen the targets.

Sure, regular season Randle but not in the playoffs. No point in keeping the guy if he can't perform on the biggest stage. He has played a bit better the last 2 but still this isn't his first rodeo.

Regular season 20-21: 24 ppg 10 rpg 6 apg 46% and 41% from 3.
Playoffs 20-21: 18 ppg 12 rpg 4 apg 30% and 33% from 3.

Regular season 22-23: 25 ppg 10 rpg 4 apg 46% and 34% from 3.
Playoffs 22-23: 17 ppg 8 rpg 4 apg 39% and 27% from 3.

He’s All NBA regardless.
Regular season award. He had a great season but doesn’t seem to step up when needed most. Short sample size? That’s fair but he isn’t a guy taking you anymore close to the promised land.
Only question is what can you get for him. Idk that really determines if he stays in NY

Talk about Mikal Bridges is that Nets turned down 4 picks from Memphis. I think he’s worth something like that.

He sure seemed to step up when needed against the Cavs in that 1st round.
Not to mention he wasn't at 100% health wise in that series, or in the Miami series.

Just sayin'

Also...I don't believe he'll be traded.....and I do think they're gonna go after Ayton, who would be a real nice get for the Knicks....but we'll see.

I don’t think so.

Bridges has upside and he is a 2 way player.

Granted, the trade market has seemed to drastically overpay for good, not great players the last couple years.

I just don’t think Randle has that kind of value.
