Yup, all three Supreme Court justices appointed under Trump all lied under oath regarding Roe v Wade being settled law. They also don't recuse themselves from cases where there's an obvious conflict of interest. Lastly, you have more than one Supreme Court justice getting entangled in multi-million dollar financial dealings without disclosing their earnings.

I mean, shouldn't we expect the highest court in the land to act ethically?

Either he was trying to do that or just point out these were illegal aliens (even though proven wrong) and in some awful way using the fallacy that if the borders were better protected these people would be alive today since they shouldn't have been there.

its a "look over there" tactic ... he uses the obvious pejorative label of "illegal immigrant" to get his idiot voter base to keep there attention on that front as opposed to even thinking anything about any type of gun reform ... probably also a splash of making his voter base think the victims had it coming as they are less than human ... he and the people who vote for him are scum
