Then why have I been critical of Biden?

Why did I post that I do not agree with many of the far left views?

I am currently disgusted with the GOP, this is true. They have sold their soul to the devil and it disgusts me when I see Marjorie Taylor Greene do the things she does. I believe it's WRONG to refer to January 6 as a "dust up" when it was so much more than that. It disgusts me when a former military man defends a former President being reckless with some of our most guarded secrets.

You are a Republican who has lost his party. But deep down you are still a conservative Republican. So I can see why you continue to debate with me despite the evidence I have posted. You just can't agree with a lib, it's just not in your DNA. And that of course is a problem we have in this country.

I see 1/6 as a pretty big deal, it is flat out WRONG that the conservatives continue to downplay it or act as if Trump had zero responsibility for that day as Dad just did again. So yeah I believe in Right vs Wrong and I won't apologize for that.

Are you now saying that Trump's rhetoric was not dangerous? Where exactly do we disagree?
Here is where we disagree. I believe the left and the right have more in common than not. you are right, I am fiscally and internationally conservative, but am fairly middle of the road socially. If we can just cut down the rhetoric we might be able to focus on that which we agree and offer meaningful solutions. Your arguement is with Trump and those quickly dwindling Trumpites. The best thing this country can do is ignore trump. Stop reporting, stop talking and he will fade away. It will also drive him crazy. But you can’t do that. Either can the media. Know why? Because they have an agenda.

The FBI has launched the biggest investigation anyone can remember. They are processing and holding so many of these thugs accountable. Yet you believe the FBI encouraged this attack, which only shows how your mind has been twisted by your sources.

But we can't ignore Donald Trump. He is running for President and has been constantly in the news because he broke some very serious laws. We have proof that he pressured election officials into changing the results as just one example.

While I agree both sides are guilty of wretched behavior here is the stark difference. After 1/6 Kevin McCarathy was heard saying he was done with Trump. Then he stuck his finger in the air, learned his moron voters feel as if January 6th was nothing more than a "dust up" and did a complete 180 and has been one of Trump's biggest ass kissers. Now we can say this is just politics but I honestly don't remember Democrats behaving this poorly.

Next we have the raid at Mar-A-Lago. I heard "defund the FBI" from the party who calls itself "the party of law and order". They have totally lost the ability to distinguish Right from Wrong. They are blaming law enforcement for simply doing their job and claim the perpetrator of this document scandal was the victim. We didn't hear that cry about the FBI from Dems when Hillary was investigated. Did Hillary feel she was above testifying before Congress as Trump did? No she showed and took on all the bullets, eventually being cleared after years of investigation.

Republicans have gotten it in their head that they are not required to testify when issued a summons. They did it in the Ukraine phone call investigation as well. That is WRONG, they were obligated to testify.

The GOP has sold their soul to the Throne of Donald J. Trump and there is literally no line he can cross to them. They have defended him in every scandal and attacked those who were simply upholding the law. And that is flat out wrong.

You are correct that the media has an agenda.

Everybody has an agenda.

Some people's agendas are to promote the general welfare of all, and some people's agendas are to promote the general welfare of themeselves, or people they see as very similar to themselves.

There are, of course, people in the middle.

What do you suppose the agenda is of the people who promote environmental polluters to positions which are supposed to safeguard our national resources, or anit-public school privateers to head the department that is in charge of our nation's public schools?

Are those people working to promote the general welfare of all, or of only a select few who - not surprisingly - mostly look, act, and talk like they do?

What about the people who promoted storming the Capitol, or actually did storm the capital? Are they working on my behalf?

So what if liberals have been after Trump since the day he was elected? What does that seem to prove to you?

Plenty of people in this country, including practically everybody who has ever been in business with Donald Drumpf, finds him to be a despicable human being who routinely flaunts the law.

the only reason you people are ok with him is because he isn't a democrat. That, and you idiots like to vote against your own interests for no apparent reason.

Oh right, the big bad FBI, whose Director was appointed by President Trump and the majority of their agents are conservative, are really the big bad Liberal Machine.

Got it, thank you for showing me the way to The Truth.

Of course they are OK with all of this. And of course they can't admit there is a reason Trump has been under attack constantly when he has created reasons to be attacked. Multiple reasons. From the start.

Not since he was elected, since he said he was running. He’s been an underdog since the start. The kind of competitor people like to pull for. He’s far from a politician and says what’s on his mind good or bad unfortunately.

Wow, where to begin. I guess I will respond in general. Somewhere along the line in our political spectrum, party became more important than country. BOTH PARTIES. This is why you see protection for the likes of trump, Clinton, etc. to the point that those controlling the parties take these radical and divisive positions. just so they can maneuver their opponents into a box so they can beat them, before they get beat. These same leaders demand that all in their party tow the line or loose election funding in the next cycle.

I think those that stormed the capital were ramped up by trump to “march down there and take our election back”. This was all based on what we know now was a lie knowing perpetuated by trump. The GOP is finally pulling It’s head out of trumps ass and realizing that he isn’t good for the party. Trump is slowly loosing all support except for those that believe the only good dem is a dead dem. What I find ironic is how the libs handle this. They want to silence trump and his small groups of radical followers. This I don’t get. I want those that I disagree with to have a full and loud voice. Just so I know who they are and what they are saying. Silence them, and the just go underground. Then pop up and surprise you when you least expect it.

He is no longer a serious candidate for anything but potential jail time. You want to fuck with trump and watch him implode? Ignore him. Call him irrelevant He has to be in the limelight, he is addicted to it. Make him a sideshow and watch the fireworks.

I do kind of agree with what you said believe it or not. I also think this country was on the right path with trump as president. He just needed to keep his mouth shut, it also would’ve helped if he weren’t under bogus investigations ever since announcing he was running for pres

This isn’t about Trump’s policies, for the most part I Agee with. It’s about him as a leader. The GOP can do better. So can the Dems and their leaders. But the problem with our leaders is one that could be partially solved by term limits. Our democracy was never intended to support career politicians whose primary goal is self preservation.

Other than the snotty "wow, where to begin" start to your post, I agree with a lot of what you said. Of course, you only addressed one of the questions I posed in the post you are responding to, but what you said here was civil and measured.

Peronsally, I think that hateful messages that promote division, hate, and fear should be pointed out, shouted down, and pummeled into non-existence. People on the right usually resort to the irrational " that's intolerance!" line of reasoning to support their brand of division, hate, or fear based policies. That's what I don't get. How the right insists that "a rising tide doesn't lift all boats," but instead resorts to "my boat needs to rise before anybody else's."

Check the 1st amendment and learn and know what it says and means .
If you don’t like certain ideas educate yourself on the topic and win in the arena of ideas .

Stop labeling shit as hate division or fear simply because you disagree with policy
. shouting down and pummeling isn’t a tool for change . It’s tyranny

Dude, I'm not talking to you. You bring nothing to political discussions.
I know exactly what the first amendment says and means.

Your second line is nonsensical gobbledygook. "Educate yourself on the topic and win in the arena of ideas?!?!?!! That's textual diarrhea. It means literally nothing. If I don't like certain ideas then I should educate myself on ideas I don't like. Mmmmmmmmkay.

The idiots on the right who spout hate don't need me to label them as hateful deplorables. They do it all by themselves. Hateful stupid people spouting off hateful stupid ideas freely isn't freedom, it's intolerance. Sorry. You're wrong again, as you always always always always are.

Kindly let the adults talk and slink on back to the kiddie table.
