JMO .... Dan was a little dork in school that was made fun of. From the things I know (not think) when he made some money he became a bully because of his money. He became more of a bully when he became a football owner. I mean who the hell tells his employees not to look at him? I don't know this part but sort of think now that he is on the outside he has returned to his early life and is a wuss.

You could very well be right. They may have told him we have the votes to remove you. Send Tanya and concentrate on selling the team. I believe the other owners will facilitate him getting the best price he can. It is in their best interest.

I think it's ironic that the name change is what kicked this whole thing off. The minority owners wanted to sell but they knew could get a boatload more if Dan wasn't the owner.

They banked on Dan selling the team before changing the name. So they got with the sponsors to put pressure on Dan. Dan said fuck you, nice try. I'm gonna change the name and buy you guys out.

Got the money from the League and bought them out. Now he owes the League a bunch of money he can't pay back because he can't get a stadium.

Now the league wants their money and the clock is ticking. He has about a year right? The minority owners leaving. Tanya getting booed, Irsay, the report that Dan hired PI's on the Commissioner, all the investigations, and of course, no stadium..

Watermarks imo on how we got here. If Bank of America can get this ball across the finish line, it will rank right up there with XVII, XXII, XXVI.

yeah, but if he can hang another 10 years, not only is he raking in cash from TV, but that 7to 8 is now worth 12-14m. this is the best investment anyone could ever make.

Our saving grace is the big loan the NFL granted him is due long before that.

This was kind of my theory when the news broke that he was selling the team just 2 weeks after their lawyer said adamantly that they will never sell. Something happened, my thinking is someone pulled him aside, showed him what they had so far in the MJW Repot (I believe the are getting updates along the way) and explained that they will now have the votes. So you can either be the first owner ever to be kicked or like Jerry Richardson you can sell.

As for Tanya attending the meeting this to me is because according to the league Dan is still suspended. So even though we all know he is still totally involved they had to put on this show.

I have decided to pull away from the political tangent this thread has taken. But I just have to point out that anyone who believes the Capitol Riot was a KGB plot all along is a brainwashed moron who should not be throwing around the label "dumb mfr"

Back to Snyder I can't separate him from the team. When they win he wins. And with the possible exception of a former President I hate him more than any man on Earth. That is why I had decided to stop supporting the team, at the time it look he would never sell.

Now that he's apparently selling I am back, but I'm sleeping in the spare bedroom until he is actually gone. I have a sinking feeling that if they go on a run this will rejuvenate him and possible change his mind. That's why I have been very guarded about the turnaround of the season. I'll be rooting tomorrow night but it won't be the same.

Even then, I probably wont buy much at all because the Commanders is a stupid name, the logo is stupid, and I dont like any of the merchandise that they’re selling.

I agree that the level of passion I have for the team is way, waaayyyyy down from what it used to be, though I actually enjoy watching their games this year when TH is playing. He, at least, is fucking fun to watch.
