The Angels announced on Tuesday that owner Arte Moreno is exploring a potential sale of the team.​

Wow. According to an official release from the team, Moreno has initiated a "formal process to evaluate strategic alternatives including a possible sale of the team." Moreno purchased the Angels for $184 million back in 2003 and has overseen a tumultuous recent period in the franchise's history in which the club hasn't made the postseason since 2014.
