Nothing else to do today. Triple digits for a second a day in a row. So I'm staying inside. Went out to El Dorado Canyon this morning.

Yep, we're supposed to hit 99 today. So that's pretty much my plan too. lol

This is great. Good for you young fella.

There's a fine line between confidence and arrogance.

Ja ain't beating MJ in a game of 1-on-1 in his prime.
Closest we will ever get to knowing is Iverson vs Jordan or Stevie Franchise vs Jordan.

The high 90 temp's don't bother me, I like them. As long as there's no wildfire smoke.

These young guys aren't bowing down to these legends.

Remember what Joker said about Shaq?

Windhorst went into a little more detail on ESPN’s “Get Up.”
Windhorst's premise is flawed, Wiggy. James has not made the Lakers a relevant championship contender for at least this past season and maybe into the next two years. Afterall, James the GM encouraged the Lakers to get Westbrook and then sign a host of washed-up, over-paid, geriatric players that sent a bubble championship team to the cellar of the Western Conference.

This led the removal of a head coach who wanted to play defense but had no takers and now the Lakers are guarding themselves against listening to this guy and unwilling to send out future picks that James doesn't give a damn about just to get a lunatic that may make the Lakers contenders again along with James and AD and then may not. There is no outcome guarantee by going after Kyrie and doing something the Lakers no longer want to do.

No I have stated this before. I think Pelinka and the Lakers FO are doing the right thing for the future of the Lakers by going young with talent who will buy into the defensive-mindedness of the new HC, Ham. The Lakers should continue to pursue the alternative Turner/Hield trade and continue to let people like Westbrook and James walk when their contracts expire. They are both going to do it anyways as retirement and other pursuits loom.

Time to begin anew for the Lakers is here.
