You can't win with a DH hitting .177.

part of the reason..i think..the mariners shoukd trade moore....is ithink he could do better..in the natianal league...

the above are not bad numbers...with 100 at bats..33 strike outs...17 hits..3 hits..and he would be above 200...which is the
long established line......

is playing how we like him to...260 is good...269...even better

with haggerty and moore..it gives the mariners good defence off the bench

and know add santana...and torrens...1B/dh..

and toro...who has been looking better...lately..with his 2 side kiks..

I wish they would back off on the turd polishing when the team appears to be ICE cold at the plate. QUIT telling us how good a team that hasn't done jack shit in forever is.

I don't know if anyone on here watches the post game with Servais, but I am so tired of him making excuses for his team and his biggest irritation I hear from is when he says: "Well, that's baseball". I can't wait until the M's get a experienced skipper for the team. Servais just doesn't cut it.
Sacks juiced with no outs bottom of the ninth. We gotta win this one....period.

Come on Jen.....enough of the stupid questions, just let Toro be with his team to celebrate. The last thing he probably wants to do is answer your dumb ass questions.

Tough times when you are barely beating one of the worst teams in all of MLB with late game heroics to plate a run or 2 after getting shut for 3+ trips thru your line up.

I guess I should be excited the M's won, but it's pretty much a 'meh' for me.

Kirby looked really good and the bats looked really bad.

Like 6 runs over 3 games against a team with a -115 run differential?

This ump has blown about 6 pitches so far for Ray and its only the second inning. Robot umpires cannot get here soon enough.

J-rod rookie of the year???? Waduthink?
If he has a 30-30 season ( 30 HR's and 30 stolen bases ) he will also get a few 1st place votes for MVP. Judge will take it down, but I can see Julio getting his dog in the fight. he could potentially hit 10 HR in the month of July as he is hot right now and the power is climbing.

He is near exact 1/2 way to a 30-30 season and that is a VERY rare feat.

At this point, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Julio have a 40-40 season by the end of September.

What an incredible young player!

Just waiting for the team to get to .500 again....and I'm not un-optimistic.
I'll play the optimist here and say the second half should be better once we get Kyle Lewis, Mitch Haniger, Tom Murphy and Ty France back. Still don't know if that'll be enough to make the playoffs though.

One of the bright spots this year has been the rotation. I think a lot of us had doubts and wanted to add another arm, but they've been very good this year.

With the way Julio has been hitting the ball since that disastrous first month when he was getting all those awful strike calls, I think it's very possible he has a 30-30 season. He's currently on pace for over 40 steals, and he has 14 HRs over his last 60 games, if he continues hitting at that rate he would clear the 30 HR threshold.
