What did you think was wrong about the safety call? Brady was clearly inside the tackle box, and he was in the EZ when he threw the pass. Also, there wasn't a receiver within twenty yards of where the ball fell. I didn't see anything wrong with that call, but maybe i missed something :noidea:

Dont mistake my comments into I am whining about the refs. I am not. It was the correct call but a very rare call to make and even larger in the SB.

I'm reading the full article from boston.com. This writer is pathetic. Brady will go down as one of the best to ever play the game, there's no question...and this guy is ripping him a new one as if Brady let his dog die. I do think Tom was a little off his game when it came down to the wire, but his receivers didn't make plays. Sure, the balls were slightly off the mark, but they were 100% catchable, ESPECIALLY for top flight NFL WR/TEs. If Welker catches that ball, game over. Even on their last ditch drive there were 2 drops. Not having Gronk was huge, he was in decoy mode.

EDIT on my last post: The author does make some good points about Tom's game, but he sounds like a petulant little child in doing it.

Rumors abound....did Brady get concussed early in the game on the Justin Tuck hit in the end zone....and play dazed throughout....

Inquiring minds......well don't really care, but I figured I would pass this along.

that Giselle "defending her man while throwing Pats receivers under the bus" video was pretty good

I though for sure Vince Wolforks wife was gonna eat her (and not in the good way)

He didn't really seem dazed. I mean, he played an awesome 2nd-3rd quarter really. People are probably trying to make excuses though.

BTW, in the TMI department, doubling the Frank's Hot Sauce content of the buffalo chicken dip last night, while substituting yogurt for half of the cram cheese was a bad idea. i am really regular and don't wanna be!!!!!!!

Concussed and dazed QB's generally set SuperBowl records for consecutive completions, so I can see that.

And to think I wanted my Lions to play the Giants instead of the Saints in the first round. :L

We were gonna be fucked either way.

I know I posted this on the WC, but I still don't know why Madonna was allowed to hold the Super Bowl Trophy after the game?

I didn't think you were whining, I was just wondering if there was a legit beef with the call. From what I saw of the play, the zebras got it right. Surprising to see it called, but the correct call, nonetheless.
