What would be the point of building that? The team will improve and likely "take off" once Danny Boy is forced to sell. The fan base (new and old) will be back and in new larger stadium in need, then what?

i think that the stadium experience is beyong the reach for middle america and hence they stay at home . smaller stadium means higher prices can be charged and soon stadiums will become smaller . they are cheaper to build and maintain so it could be a trend

So you believe has far as QB ability Wentz is only 1-1.5 games better than TH? When you break down both QB's its not even close with arm and athletic ability. There is no question that Wentz is more talented. Who cares about the cap hit or draft picks if he works out. IF he does work out he is very cheap for the next two years.

i do care because his track record is that of a mid level qb . nothing wrong with that but at the draft pick price i am not sure 1 to 1.5 more wins constitutes a good deal .

the question is the team could convert his salary to bonus and give us some cap relief and yet there is no movement on that , why ? its a move that can be done unilaterally and yet resignings and holes remain un filled

if we got wince for a simple 3rd round pick we would be having this debate

We didn't do that move b./c if Wentz stinks this year we have an out on his contract with not paying him anymore gmoney. Its still possible that Wentz can be our QB. We have nothing with TH, who should be gone next season.

I disagree, a small price to pay if we found a QB. We gave up alot worse to find a QB. If he works out it would be the greatest trade this team as ever made.

well if we found him why not do what i said ? small price to pay in guaranteed money ( 6 mil a year ) to be worried

again he is a mid level qb . his has some talent but he has warts as well . but that wasnt good enough for a certain qb here and CDC is another guy who is much the same but in the end failed to solve the problem

i can get 1 -2 more wins with the other FA qbs and not give up cap flex , or draft capitol

taking us to a superbowl this year would justify the trade to me . this year isnt the year i care about its when we have a falco type schedule and we play teams that have better qbs then wince , can he still get wins . then its a problem that is solved if he does . if not we are back to the roller coaster

Dont have to do what you said., b/c we lose the out clause. TH really didnt get us any wins, the running game and defense were responsible for the 4 game winning streak.,

The Superbowl prediction is crazy. He wins a playoff game, he will be crowned the franchise QB for this team like it or not.

depends on a lot of factors. The tune before was the avg QB wanted to be paid the highest in the league.
