He rebounds a little more but he wasn't consistently out defending the 3 like Tatum is. You defend the 3, you can't get rebs.

Tatum is a lockdown defender though and I just don't see that with bird.

Also bird is hyped as a better 3 point shooter but he never actually showed it in games, only 3 point contests. We know for fact that Tatum is an elite 3 point shooter in games. Bird never proved that, just because you have a great stroke doesn't mean you can get it off in games. Tatum's shooting off the dribble is much better, especially from 3
