The media can be fickle.
Agreed, but why this particular change? I don't sense any media hate for Steph right now.

The conference finals now have the Magic Johnson (West) and Larry Bird (East) MVP awards. I suspect Steph will win the Magic one.

Not sure this tracks. The same media that gave Steph 2 MVPs including one unanimous now doesn't want him to win FMVP?

If Steph had signed with Nike, I'm pretty sure he would have a Finals MVP already.

I was mostly talking about the votes for Finals MVP in the past. The media narrative was against Steph back then. I'm not sure how it will go now, assuming the Warriors go to the Finals and win it. However, you're already hearing some voices in the media saying that Steph is a frontrunner and only plays well when the Warriors are already ahead.

I'd love to see those links so I can make fun of them.

Mark Haynes is the Warriors beat writer for some lesser known media outfit. Clutch Points, I think. I'm not sure I agree with how Warriors fans went him. Those tweets about Asian people and gay people are bad, but I'm 100% sure that Warriors fans didn't care until now.

Max Kellerman seems to be a dedicated anti-Curry guy. I don't think he's called Curry a front runner, but I wouldn't be surprised if he has already or if he takes this angle soon.

The Curry front runner stuff is actually pretty old and goes a ways back, but I'm not sure if a major media figure has run with that yet. There are media members who love Curry, of course, but there are a lot of haters out there. And LeBron's friends even jump in from time to time.

Well, the KD teams were not 'Steph led' per se. That was collectively one of the greatest teams in NBA history though, and Steph was of course part of that. Part of Steph's awesomeness is he doesn't care about what the Kellermans of the world have to say.

Yup. Curry doesn't seem to care as much about legacy as other superstars do.

Curry just does his job. He'll let the media and historians say and write what they want. Maybe he is really a Canadian secret agent anyway, and this whole NBA thing is just a front. Think about it.

1. He lived in Toronto as a teen.
2. He's married to a Canadian woman.
3. He let the Raptors beat the Warriors in the Finals.
4. He was behind the trade for Andrew Wiggins.
5. He was one of the few Warriors that Canadian Dillon Brooks complimented after the Warriors-Grizzlies series.
6. The price of maple syrup is higher now than it was when Steph Curry first got to the Warriors.

The evidence is stacking up against him. Think about it!

No way he should play. He could be risking further damage.
This is all hands on deck time. Maybe sit out game 5 then if Boston wins, play game 6.

If the Heat win game 5 sit for game 6, and see if 7 is necessary.

Damn the media.

Talking about Tyler Herros availability, but nothing about Smart

Heat, Heat, Heat all the media does it talk about Miami.

Ira Winderman is a local guy. Been on the heat beat for like 30 years. I don't get heat news from national people. Im sure you can find news on smart from the celtics guys as well
