I think both Castro and Doval have a shot, but not the other two. And out of the 6 25 year olds, only Webb and Bart are locked and Williams with a chance. Only 3 26 year olds have a chance, Littell, Long and Estrada. And only Dubon is a possibility among 27 year olds. The roster is going to be old again this year. Hopefully, that fountain of youth they drank from last year still works again this year.

But yes, this is an old team. But we have a few “kids” who are ready to graduate in the next 2 years or so (Ramos, Matos, Luciano, Hjelle, Harrison, Bednar, Wilson (??) and a bunch of bully arms)

The Giants say Evan Longoria will undergo surgery tomorrow to repair a ligament in his right index finger. His prognosis will be determined following surgery but the expectation is the finger will be immobilized for at least 10 days. A blow to a lineup that needs his RH bat.

According to this report, LaStella, as of yesterday, felt his status for OP is still "up in the air" but it seems to be trending positively.
