Media sure is putting Joe Burrow on a pedestal
He took a team who won 2 games two years ago, to 4 wins last year to the Superbowl. These are the Bengals, not some great organizations that know how to tear down and do a proper rebuild. He is the reason that Hendrickson and Hilton chose to come to Cincinnati. Gronk is even contemplating it (don't think it will happen). But he alone turns this team into a destination not a wasteland. 1 player. Because of him, and his confidence, charisma, leadership and determination to be great has created this culture.

So yeah, I can see why. IT doesn't mean he will be able to accomplish anything Brady has accomplished, but as of right now, I think Burrow deserves praise. Just glad they are giving Rams and Bengals equal praise this week. Bengals got like little coverage during the previous weeks in the playoffs until they beat the Chiefs and made it to the Superbowl.

kid is 7-0 in post-season before the NFL. Rams have the better team, no doubt and Donald and Ramsey are beasts, but Cinci has a shot with all these huge Wr's

Big thing that gets lost sometimes, it's not just Chase. Sure, he had the big year, but Higgins went over 1,000 yards, and Boyd was less than 200 yards off from 1,000 yards as well. When you factor in the ability of CJ (who will play) at TE taking advantage over the middle - you see why Burrow is such a great fit - he finds the open guy. It's hard for teams to be 3 and 4 deep in coverages.

Higgins could be a problem no doubt. Chase is 6’. It all depends on how much pressure we can put on their QB. And if we can hold onto the ball. Same shit different game

Pressure will be the name of the game - but it has to come from 4/5 guys, and not true blitzing. Burrow is one of the best when pressured via blitz - he'll pick apart teams that way. He struggles most when teams are able to pressure with the standard 4-man fronts, and the occasional 5th man - as it drops more into coverage and takes away quick throwing lanes (Tenn game is a good example).

Looking forward to the chess-match - also, Bengals have been very, very good at in-game adjustments, especially after half-time. Should be a great matchup.

Yeah when I watched them against KC, couldn't believe all the big fellas at WR. Jalen can only cover one, so will be interesting. And containing Kupp and ODB, your DB's and LBers will have their hands full

Indeed. Weapons on both offensive pose real matchup issues across the board.

Should be a great chess-match. If I had to guess, based on trends for the season for Cincinnati - I'd look for the Rams to get off to a better start, and the Bengals have been very, very good at adjusting in game, especially after the half - and for the Bengals to make their push in the 3rd and 4th quarters.

talking football...LOL

that would be a first for you, unless being paranoid about the other teams QB getting so much attention is football talk.

Man you special….

I’ll walk you thru this slowly.

What usually happens when the media puts a team or person on a pedestal? I’m guessing you understand this but I doubt it
