wow, so consensus for sr scouts is Willis #1 not Pickett? all the buzz seems to be on Pickett that ive seen

let me see if i can make sense of this , these guys are rated by all aspects of qb'ing and they assign a number to them . that number corresponds 1-10 and the total rating then applies to what round they draft they go in . in this case they feel willis has more traits to be a 1st rounder

so for us to draft a qb a rating of 8 is what you expect a PB qb to have , 6-8 is where you expect an avg to above avg guy will be and of course the round he gets drafted is end of round 1 to round 3

its a short explanation but without going overboard that is about right

I would say that's where the value is if they pass on QB. We have invested so much into the defense. They have already said they are going vet at MLB. So you can cross that off.

I dont see us being able to sign a big name WR in FA because I think in March the only QB on the roster at that point will be Heinicke.

So if they sign McCain and get a vet MLB in here. The needs other than QB are slot corner, RG, and WR.

They aren't taking a RG at 11.

Adding a guy opposite of McLaurin that is just as good as McLaurin would make life easier for him and a potential rookie QB (2nd round) or Trubisky.

We just gave our #2 WR huge money plus we have a 3rd round pick in Brown. With the Carter as a 4th we are fine. No way we take a WR at 11

if you can get a good wr and he falls to us why not ? mac needs help . samuel is a possible answer at slot but brown showed me he iis a 4/6 simms could walk and he is a 4/6 AH could walk and he is a BU slot and carter is the KR and a spot contributor at wr

so yeah if wr was the best value at 11 i would take him . me personally i would go LB or o/lineman or d/line

It isn’t just Haskins , RG 3. JC , Ramsey shuler all drafted out of desperation

RG3 and Shuler made sense at the time. Ramsey was a late first and so was JC.

Dax Milne: It says a lot that Milne (nine catches for 83 yards) almost outproduced Brown despite being drafted four rounds after the former Tar Heel. That’s not terrible production from your last pick of the draft.

Milne might never be a starter for the WFT, but he has a place on the bottom of the depth chart or practice squad.

I believe any other QB makes these WR's better. Plus, you add Samuel to the mix. We are fine at WR. WR is not even a top 3 need right now. Its QB, LB, and Safety right now.

i would agree with you on order of needs but our wrs group has one threat possibly 2 out of 7 . the rest are guys we can upgrade on and hence it is a need . so if wr is the BPA on the board i would consider it because this draft class at qb looks to be a dilfer/shuler class

and if we go qb at 11 if the sr bowl shows these guys are good qbs within 2 yrs this board will be calling for the guys head as it has done in my 11 yrs here

Not of QB's. We have to try get land one. I disagree with you on the Wr's. We are fine IMO. Yes the Senior bowl will tell us more about the QB's. Hey Baker mayfield went #1 overall.
