he is not wrong... but its not always a bad thing either. the media here is good and bad. if we didnt have half the guys and girls out there that do what they do I dont think the interest would be as high right now.

Is Vancouver media any more hostile than Toronto or Montreal? I doubt it. I will say that Canucks twitter is very active and it can be pretty rough on there.

What I will say is people said for years nobody wanted to sign in Toronto because media/fans/waaah etc. and Toronto has been able to sign/keep basically any player they've wanted in the last 6 years save Steven Stamkos (which, in all fairness, was delivered maybe the worst free agent pitch in the history of sports).

There's nothing about the Canucks, the city of Vancouver or the local media right now that would stop a player from wanting to play here except the losing. That was true about Toronto for a decade and it's true about Vancouver today.
