Lebron took a hard foul from Stewart prior to that possession. It wasn't a reaction to being boxed out.

Interesting. I’d love to see it. I didn’t hear a word from ESPN or TNT about previous hard foul by Stewart when bball folk talked about this incident.

Yeah, I didn't see the foul that folks are talking about. Not doubting that it happened, just didn't see it.

From what I saw on the play, he and Lebron were trying to get rebounding position, Lebron was frustrated (whether by a hard foul previously or the Lakers getting their ass kicked at the time) and yanked his arm free, but put a little "extra sauce" on it and clipped Stewart with his elbow or hand.

Lebron immediately tried to apologize and everything seemed cool until Stewart realized he was bleeding...then he lost his shit.

From what was said, Lebron not only tried to apologize at the time, he apparently tried to get Stewarts number so he could apologize. Haven't heard if he was successful or not though.

Dumb part for Stewart was that if he just didn't keep trying to escalate things, he stays in the game, but Lebron still gets the flagrant 2 and is ejected. The Pistons still won that one because if losing Stewart means the Lakers lose Lebron...the Pistons will take that 1000 times out of 1000.

But if he gets to stay in the game and the Lakers still lose Lebron...that's even better for the Pistons.

Oh Lebron was frustrated on the box out no
Doubt.

Wondering what happened tonight in Indiana.. didn’t see this just now hearing about it but the girl got tossed from the game and making the boohoo face for Lebron

I guess he gets to kick whoever heckles him out.

I don't understand this whole soft thing. Lebron is a household name across the world and if you don't follow the NBA then you have no idea who the other guy is. Getting into a fight with LeBron is a different level. This isn't the 80s anymore. Anyone swinging at a guy in movies, commercials, political tweets, game shows, etc on national TV is certifiable.

Don't know if you saw, but he got hit and was also bleeding from virtually the same spot on his head as Stewart.

I did laugh a little when I saw where he was cut and thought...karmic justice. lol

It’s the same crew in here that wear Lebron underwear. They can’t help it

I will say that if it's a playoff game then swing away and force the NBA to suspend LeBron. Regular season soft doesn't matter imo. Post season is when you find out who is soft.

how crass of players like Stewart and fans like those in Indianapolis to treat King James with such disrespect.

And Lurch would've received the death penalty, lol. Today's pansy players (and the league office) have no stomach for the occasional dust-up.

Definitely on my short list of favorite Lakers/Celtics highlights. :dhd:

I warms the cockles of my heart to read a thread like this and realize that we all agree that LeFraud James is a semi-literate dildo that we all hate passionately.

He soft. Had the perfect opportunity to swing on lebron and did nothing

Pretty unfair to call someone soft for not fighting.

It would have been a bad business decision with consequences.

See, this is ignorant. Haters making LeBron out to be the bad guy here.

The fan said something about hoping his son died in a.car accident.

LeBron did the right thing while showing class and restraint.

I get that but his actions afterwards seems like he wanted a fight anyway so why not handle your business when you are nose to nose with him?

You believe that story of 1 fan. K

It’s not hating at all, the dude just continues to bring it on himself. Which is obvious to anyone not swinging from Brons nuts like yourself.

Class?? Guess the NBA disagrees
