Last good one we got was drafted in the 4th round after giving up a kings ransom to draft another guy with the 2nd pick. :noidea:

Could happen this year
The last outstanding one that this team had was RGIII. Since him, all that they've had were mediocre or good talents at various median stages of good or mediocrity.

Mediocre or Good ≠ Outstanding.

So, if the obvious unnamed "good" QB, is the talent level goal this year, that's a hard pass for me, as it should be for the organization, especially if the goal is playoff and SB appearances.

RG3 was an absolute bust and career journeyman

he was a one hit wonder, one hit to his knee during the Ravens game, and now we can only wonder how far that one good season could have gone.
Cousins was no doubt a better QB, not really a winner but def more efficient

I don’t buy that crap at all . He couldn’t run a pro offense . There is oodles of film on him simply not making throws he should have

Plenty of QBs have had knee surgery. Griffin isn't in the league anymore because he wasn't good enough.

If someone thinks Griffin was outstanding they maybe should start watching cricket or volleyball. If he was outstanding he would still be in the league.

Hang in there Haskins will be great in a year or two. :pound::trash: As soon as he quits texting during practice.

RG3 was an outstanding sprinter who excelled at bootlegs, designed rollouts, and read-options, provided he wasnt hit and could get out of bounds.

He was also great at hitting his first read, or scanning half a field.

Unfortunately for him, he did get hit, couldnt slide, and telegraphed his passes enough for defenses to key on his eyes.

When he lost his legs and refused to learn to be an actual qb until whatever speed he had came back to him, he became a barely-hanging on backup.

I think we heated up waaaay to late but i respect Rivera and Del Rio again. They came out with a sense of urgency two weeks in a row. Gotta get a pass rush from somewhere though

Geeez, how soon they forget!

Here's the answer that should remind you of that outstanding year. ( nobody said that it was for a career or even a second season. metrics intended) Now to be fair, what made him different was the added 815 yards rushing and 7 additional TDs.

In addition to all of this, I've recruited a few friends to testify to this fact. Do you or anyone here want to hear from them?

Absolute??

Absolutely not, please do try to remember some of the things that you said about him originally and when you defended him when there were some questions presented by our friend @Shark.

Absolute?? Naw, you're discounting 2012, or have completely put it out of your mind. That season alone, refutes your declaration of his being an "absolute bust" Jarmarcus Russell, Ryan Leaf, Art Schlichter, Todd Marinovich, Heath Shuler, etc. were "Absolute busts!"

Listing the top 50 of them there's this...
