47 a bit too much, but 3 of 4 players we missed have been elite so far this year. Kind of guys needed to stop LAC and that offense. Looked like the 2020 team.

It’s more than missed players at this point, I don’t think Woods’ scheme fairs well against those kind of spread, dynamic/complex route offenses with a mobile QB. We’ve seen it for awhile now. I mean they did a decent job against KC last year in the playoffs but BAL, LAC, etc. more for the last couple years. At some point, CLE has to put this on Joe Woods. I mean look at what Buffalo did to KC, there are ways to limit these offenses. Being healthy and having the refs do their job is part of it but most of that should fall on the DC and he isn’t getting it done, plain and simple.

so far what I see is with our guys playing and having learned the D they play well. When they are missing a lot of stars they don't. If you watch both deep ball completions you can clearly see the guys didn't know what to do. It's allowed to blame the player for that. First one was Green, I believe as he had williams then turned the wrong way. 2nd one Green looked he was where he was supposed to be but Johnson went wrong way.

Right...never the players. Did ya also see the missed tackles on the Ekeler long catch/run on 2nd and 16 for the TD? I'm at least hoping he does not tell them to miss tackles.

Guessing Reid gets a little more flak as he has a better reputation, right? Then again, I would imagine every fanbase has a number of "those fans" and KC likely has fans ripping Mahomes, too. We know in all sports when fans don't like a coach he gets the blame for the loss. Same for the QB in NFL.

Some of that can be traced right back to the defense. When an offense feels like it has to score every time they get the ball...they will take risks that they normally wouldn't.

Giving up 26 forth quarter points is unacceptable. The offense did what it was supposed to do. But the defense was very disappointing.

that still goes back to the coaching staff to have the players prepared imo. It’s more than just this year. There are only so many excuses you can make for bad coaching

I was glad to see Mayfiekd have a good game finally. What I was most glad about was how he said postgame that he didn’t do enough to win and that is what matters. I wasn’t his biggest fan when he was at OU but he has grown up. He is just a guy you have to love watch play when he is playing well.
