I got the Pack at 7 definite wins, and then 4-5 should be wins..I'd be more inclined to bet the over, but I wouldn't give a slam dunk.

That dang NFC north, Minnesota, Detriot, Chicago, they're just never "gimmie's", no matter how bad the other 3 teams in the league are.
I Think I've got em splitting with the Vikings and Bears, beating Detroit twice. those guys don't role over and play dead for the division paper champ like the AFC East did for most of 2 decades

NOS, SF, PITT, WFT, KC, SEA, BALT...no gimmie's in there either, I'm not even sure I want to just give the win over Cleveland.

I dont know that we hit 13 again but I am fairly confident, barring a specific injury, that we hit at least 11.

M. Brown.png

Likely Gaskin stays the starter, but sort cast a shadow on his usage at the very least and his future past this season.

Maybe my opinion but preseason "starts" can't be a reliable gauge for week 1.
Maybe the Fins just wanted to see how Brown does against a skeleton crew of starters? :noidea:

Watched the first half of that game, was very unimpressed with M. Brown, he showed next to nothing
Was thinking the same, he looks slow and lack of vision. Not a threat at this point…but it is preseason so

Yeah can't judge by preseason much, but it's all we got for now.

I got a shiny penny says Buffalo makes it a point to show Justin Fields a different perspective next week. I don't think the Miami second string quite measures up to "NFL speed"

That guy's an idiot. Even if he did think that, why in the holy hell would he say it?

Lamar Miller cut by WFT...
If this dude gets another shot before AP, Duke, Gurley..I'll truly be at a loss.

I get it if he finds a home before Bell

Fields - I'd like to see the full context on the statement before taking PFF word, personally.
Silly thing to say regardless if he was referencing the opposition vs his own playbook/system

Maybe he was talking about rush hour on the Kennedy expressway heading into the Loop?

He was asked about adjusting to the speed of the NFL game..and that was his reply...that's the short and skinny of it.

Fox-
"
After the game, Fields talked about his thoughts on the speed of the NFL.

"It was actually kind of slow to me, to be honest," Fields responded when he was asked the question postgame, according to NFL.com."

Bleacher report-
"Justin Fields asked about the speed of the game: “It was actually kind of slow to be honest. … Me going against (the Bears’ defense) every day slows it down for me.”

The full qoute, adding the part about the Bears helps..he's pumping up his own teams defense, more so than anything else..still, pretty ballsy after facing the Dolphins future USFL superstars
