  1. M Tauchman (L) LF
  2. M Yastrzemski (L) RF
  3. E Longoria (R) 3B
  4. B Belt (L) 1B
  5. W Flores (R) 2B
  6. B Crawford (L) SS
  7. C Casali (R) C
  8. S Duggar (L) CF
  9. L Webb (R) P
DigDug, Casali in. Seems like LF and RF are kinda settled (at least until DickDick gets back), Flowers at 2b until LaStella is back.

Law those lawing lawmen...

6-4 good guys.
And Tauchman has settled into being about as subpar as the rest of the outfield. Actually, his OPS is worse than most of the rest (except Dickerson). I'm not impressed but he still got some time to right the ship.

And Rook looks shaky. Nice job by Stamos to keep them scoreless.

I know he's the shutout whisperer and all, but how TF does Casali still have a major league roster spot? .116?? cmon, man.

It does prompt the question: at what point do you DFA him? .100? .075?

He's not whispering shutouts any longer. Are pitchers really doing any better with him than Posey? Offensively, he's not even as good as Tromp was last year, much less what he did in Cincinnati.

I didn't understand why he was brought in to begin with. He had a nice streak of shut outs that he caught but was that him or the pitchers? If it was him, then I see value being kept on the roster but if the pitchers are generally performing the same with him as with Posey, then it doesn't make sense to keep him too much longer if he doesn't start to hit a bit more than he has to date.

He has gotten rave reviews from the pitchers about his game calling. He wasn’t brought in for his bat.

Sure, I would like to see more offensive contribution from him, but he isn’t a starter. And we don’t have anyone else atm who can take his spot.
