Deep dish? Yeah i actually make fish like 4/5 days a week.

We do fish about once a month, usually grilled on the bbq.

Growing up my favorite was Trout wrapped in foil with butter, lemon and pepper while camping.

I need to start grilling more. Usually a quick broil or pan sear. Gonna be honest ive never tried trout? Similar to anything? Texture? Flavor?

I was going to right away say trout is similar to texture in Salmon and yes it is, but since I dont eat much fish no days (Salmon, Orange Roughy, Mahi Mahi) i thought I'd read up on it.

The steelhead and rainbow “trout” are actually the same fish. The name steelhead is used if the fish is able to make it to the ocean, and rainbow refers to those that are landlocked away from saltwater.

In 1989, when DNA tests showed that the rainbow or steelhead isn’t really a trout after all, the fish was reclassified as a salmon. Likewise, the Atlantic salmon was determined not to be a salmon after all, but a trout.

Small 8 or 9 inches can be pan fried like Crappie.

I had the opah in hawaii. It was unbelievable. Impossible to find here. Yoi can order it shipped, with dry ice but its insanely expensive.

I asked the local fish market if they could get and and they told me no. Said they only get it if someone is buying the whole fish basically. Its about 300 lbs sooooo yeah. Told me that or if we could guarantee a group of us wouod split up. Said its a great fish but on this side of the states no one really knows or demands it and it doesnt sell when theyve got it in the past. My fav fish by far.

yeah appreciate that. I actually looked at a few of those, costs alot for shipping, and i would need a new deep freeze to store just that fish to make it worth it

Hey, as a Seahawk's fan I'm glad there are people out there that respect Wilson for his accomplishments. He has had a great career so far.

Us Hawk fans understand and know what our team would look like without RW. Like I said, stats are great and all but what matters most to us is playing at a higher level in the playoffs and getting this team back to a SB.
