others sites give the same grade , there is a difference between grade and prediction of where they go

Right so being a QB that means they get drafted higher than grade b/c of the position. I cant see him slipping to the 2nd round.

and i wouldnt reach for him at 19 because his grade doesnt justify the pick . it doesnt bring value to a guy who doesnt fit what we do . i wouldnt pick a guy with that kind of grade at 19 because if he flops it hurts a lot worse at that pick thenn it does later as far as money and talent goes

We are actually three years behind. They screwed up and the decided not to sign Cousins. That is 12,000 yards and 95 TDs of production. No matter whether you like or do not like KC that is his three year production in Minnesota. The team is heading into season 4 still trying to replace him.

Fingers crossed that they find someone this year but we screwed the pooch here.
With superior talent around him (KC) those stats have added up to absolutely nothing in MINN. Not to mention, those folks who "screwed up" are gone and the new regime can now go out and obtain their QB (FA or draft). I don't think RR will settle moving forward with AS pre-existing condition (hell he couldn't even play the PO game) nor do I think he wants Allen or Hieneke as his starter but possible backups. Should be interesting to see what direction he goes but RR did make it very clear after the playoff game that he intends to notify Snyder of his QB plans moving forward.

He is not the QB RR likes b/c he is a pocket passer. I cant see how you can call him a reach if some team picks him from 15-32.

none of those did what a lot of qbs did in college to include jones yet a good college career means nothing and alabama has a history of great college qbs and yet they cant make the pro's . again being taken in round one like chris ponder doesnt mean much . same with jake locker . they got taken way before they should have been

Dump on Cousins all you want but at least have a clue.

Lessons learned from Kirk Cousins' third season with Vikings

Assign blame where it goes and not to fit your narrative.

No narrative Sportster and you always take the Cousins talk personal. You liked Cousins and many others around here did also, great. I was always on the fence about Cousins and felt he was nothing more than a stat stuffer between the 20's after always being down by 20. Not all Cousins' fault but his body of history tells the story as nothing has changed in Minn. Perhaps with the insane talent around him he can finally get a PO win in MINN.

Cousins has been gone now for 3 years and you keep nut hugging him. Let it go, he was avg here in DC and yes, while a great guy, an avg QB.

Once again you think you know what I am thinking. You have no clue. You didn't like him, I show how you are wrong and you are not man enough to admit it. I didn't take anything personal and I am not nut hugging. I am pointing out that after three years this team is still looking for someone to replace.

If you can't understand when you were the QB that helped his team score the most points in the history of the Viking franchise but your defense gave up more you might want to assess where you assign the blame. No matter, I will continue to point out the fuck up whether you like it or not. Can I get a Mark Sanchez or Josh Johnson?? :D All good skinz, let me know when the team finds his replacement.

Heinicke is already better than any QB that this organization has had in the Dan Snyder era in a one playoff game comparison. He might flame out and become what he was prior to his sudden emergence, but after his one game exhibition, anyone who can't see that he represents the "type" of QB that makes this offense go, hasn't been paying attention. That said, there has been no former QB who can give this offense what he or some future representative with the same skillset can or will be able to do. With that in mind, I'll not get into a debate or argument over what could have been or not, instead putting supposition and meaningless numbers aside, I'll leave with this great quote from someone who knows a thing or two about what really counts in the NFL.

"Let's be honest, you judge wins and losses in this league," Vikings offensive coordinator Gary Kubiak said. "Everybody's trying to be a playoff team and then be the best team for one month. I know that's what this league is all about. We've done some good things on offense, we moved the ball, some guys had some good numbers. That's great, but that's all about winning."

Yep, that type is truly taking over in the league and this team needs to keep up with the trend. You regularly watch the senior bowl, what prospects of that type are you looking at or want the team to look at?
