So as we see him show up in Phoenix and completely change what that team looks like, I'm thinking I want to appreciate him before he's gone. There were a lot of really great players that we loved watching who never won a ring, like Ewing and Barkley and Malone and Iverson...so even if as it looks like that Paul retires without a ring, we're seeing a player in that category.

I hope he gets at least 630 more assists. He would have to play nearly all the games to do so, though. And he’d probably have to play next year, too.

He's way up there as an all time great. He's an efficiency god, a court genius, and he might be the greatest defender among players who are his size. He might not even be 6 feet tall.

I wouldn't say he "completely" changed them. They did go undefeated in the bubble. Much of that team was starting to gel. But he's definitely a boost for them to make them a serious playoff team.

I'm convinced Iverson was really 5'10" even though he was listed as 6'0".
So much fun to watch that little dude with an attitude. Talk about heart.

He is a leader and he plugs a gap in the hole the Suns had at PG.

Perfect acquisition.

Rockets would have won the 'ship last season and easily beat the Lakers if they kept him. What do you expect from a loser organization like that one though. They always get a host of talent and somehow screw it up with a dumb trade or something. They take the Warriors to Game 7 and then just blow it up? Get rid of your star playmaker? LOL

Thread title is unbelievably gay.

That said, I still believe he still could have a shot at a title with the Suns...

one of the top 6-7 point guards of all time probably.

Nash or Paul for a career? Paul or Kidd?

the answer is probably Paul for both.

I think Bill Simmons has him at like #3 behind Magic and Isiah.
