to me guys it comes down to 4 guys depending on when we draft

trey lance my issue with him is experience . to me experience wise he is DH who can run . if he has pocket awareness then he is worth the shot if you sit him. . he should be available if we make the playoffs . at the correct spot

kyle trask . big arm limited mobility , but he does have experience . if he has pocket awareness and does well at the sr bowl i think in round 2or 3 he would be worth the shot

the guy for this team for my money is jamie newman . he has experience , he is going to the SR bowl and he has a good arm and mobility . again he culd be a solid guy in round 2 or 3 and if groomed properly much like trask would be he could be a viable starting qb . . pocket presence needs to be shown

my last choice would be montez from our PS . he has tools but i havent seen anything from him, next offseason he could show up or be a dud

mac jones is listed as jake fromme with a better arm . if true then that is good because being able to read defenses and such , having posket presence and knowing what to do with the ball is important . my thing is does he have NFL ability or is a a good college qb only

those are what i think our options in this draft and our PS guy are

Looks pretty good to me
Big arm, throws a great deep ball in highlights ... can move but doesn't look like he has a lot of wiggle. Not everyone can be Lamar Jackson. Can't tell for sure but looks like he is pretty fast. Not a one year wonder.

I like Mac Jones b/c of his accuracy. He is a pocket passer. I think he is a late first rounder. We should be picking in the 20's. If SMith comes back next year than he doesnt even have to start.

that can be solved. If we are looking for a pocket passer he is the most accurate. Arm strength is over rated. Trask and Jones should be there when we pick. I think Lance gets taken before 20 and he is a huge wildcard. We can actually take 2 Qb's in this draft if we dont get anybody in FA. You can get your cincy boy in the 5th.

it should be a red flag i wouldnt pick lance because where you would pick him would require him to play right away . wilson i would pick

We are not going to have a shot at the top 3 so why bother talking about them. So the next 3 Qb's are lance, Jones, and Trask. I think Jones is the safest out of all three.

lance is a risk , trask in round 2or 3 is worth it , same with jones . if you cant get one of them at the right spot then dont draft a qb . late 1st round (if we make the playoffs ) isnt a spot i would take them at . if we get top 10 then wilson could be in play

Considering the choices and this organization's penchant to misidentify what they have, unless they have a chance at a player like Fields, they should pass on drafting a QB and sign one in free agency.

BTW: after that dismantling of Clemson, there's no way that Fields will be available to them. Now if they lose on Sunday night, they could make a move for him, depending upon where in the top ten they are selecting.

What if Dallas loses then they have a decision to make sign Prescott or Draft Fields
