If Jerrah keeps bullshittin n the money's right. Why not? The only thing better than playing for your fave team. Is being able to kick your fave team's ass cuz they didn't think you were worth the money. Even though they paid everyone else.

One thing that does scare me though far as going after an established FA. All that money RR threw at Cooper who isn't even the Boys best WR n wouldn't have been in Washington either.
I agree, Jerrah has totally botched the Prescott contract up. That said, his experiment with the red rifle has also failed. There's nothing about the play of Andy Dalton that gives one pause to say... "yeah we can roll with that!" That experiment should also set off red lights to others who are looking at other veteran QB's who will on the market soon. (Hint: there's a reason why they are going to be available)

or you stick with CDC( whom you are paying no matter what ) and Allen , if CDC retires you go allen and heinecke and in both cases you can draft a qb after round one to groom
This is what drives people crazy when it comes to this organization. There appears to be a single simpleminded focus on the moment. I saw something last night that people, especially Giant fans are upset about. The Eagles, traded a meaningless win for the opportunity to move from selection 9 to selection 6. Love or hate the move, but it was done in the long term interest of their team. What has this organization done towards a similar goal?

I'm wth you when it comes to rolling with Allen (I believe Smith retires) and grooming the long term guy but what happens when the next opportunity comes to win in another season of bad divisional play? I think that we already know... the long term "project" who's not ready gets to prove why he's a project no matter where he's been gotten in the draft.

Dallas lost now they have a huge decision to make
I don't think that their decision is difficult at all. Let's take a brief look...

1. Pay the man

2.Andy Dalton? Hahahaha, Pay the man.

3. Draft rookie who gives you the same or better production as Dak? Good luck with that...Pay the man.

4. Sign a Matt Ryan or another free agent? Been there, done that, Pay the man.
There seems to be a recurring theme here. Jerrah screwed up the Prescott contract negotiations, admit his mistake and...

PAY THE MAN!!

Cant just pay the man sty, when Jerrah has already forked over serious cash for Elliott, Cooper, and at least one if not two of his olinemen (Frederick? Zack Martin? Somebody).

Especially since the cap is projected to decrease this year, yes?

i dont think you can ask a team to tank . did you see the disgust on the eagle bench when they put dudfeld in ? pederson lost that team . we most likely will be picking at around 19 . we can get a quality guy there but maybe not a day one starting qb . lance could be there at 19 and maybe we can pull the trigger on him , run with allen in 21 , get to the playoffs at 8/9 wins and by then maybe lance knows about the nfl enough to be a starter in 22 . or draft a jones or trask or ridder or mond or greenwood later in the draft and hope the same thing

i tend to say get the BPA at 19 and look for a qb later

the question with Dak is can he play well enough to carry the team and justify the cap space investment ? that is debatable

its a question the vikings faced , they chose KC but it cost them that great defense

You already know my position on sitting young QB's. What gives me pause has been this organization's reluctance to sit 'em. I don't know if there are internal pressures or worse external ones at play over the years.
