No, I said Eli to try to contextualize his information since I obviously can’t reveal details. My friend never said Eli Manning.

And yeah, Eli was usually somewhere between 8th and 12th best QB in the league during his prime. He just happened to get a couple Super Bowls.

Which is right where I think Baker can be.
Aware friend never said Eli and was you....8-12 (especially if closer to 8) seems a little better than "slightly above average QB" so I'd say friend maybe in ballpark if that's where he ends up but didn't nail it.

seriously, though, if he really thought he came up with something with the "he'll be good with a coach who plays to his strengths and will struggle if he doesn't"? Pretty sure this is almost any QB.

its crazy that an 11-5 team may miss an EXPANDED playoff.

wtf.
Would be just like Cleveland to turn things around finally and go into week 17 at 11-4 needing to win to get in. Guess it's better than needing help.

admittedly, I was wrong as I thought when people were saying early in season 10-6 might not get a team in that sounded nuts.

Yes. Eli Manning was a slightly above average franchise QB who happened to achieve a lot.

he was never thought to be among the elites at his position in any given year. He wasn’t the type of QB you pick early in a fantasy draft like you would with Rodgers, Brady or Brees.
now it's slightly above average franchise QB and not slightly above avg. QB? Can you decide what your friend said as I know you don't like when the goalposts are moved (which you did and I did not ironically).

i mean when i hear "slightly above average qb" in a 32 team league I am thinking like 13-14.

Well, as typical with both you clowns, he is taking a small part of my quote out of context and running with it.

And my friend just gave me the data. All the terminology you all are attempting to pick apart are my words attempting to explain it without actually telling you anything about what the data is.

And since I don’t ever plan to share it with you, I guess that is that.

If your friends comes up with pearls of wisdom like "he'll be better if he has a coach that plays to his strength than one who does not" I cannot tell you how cheated I feel.

I am not taking anything out of context, FYI. Though you have moved the goalposts by changing it from slightly above average QB to slightly above average franchise QB. Either way, basic math tells us pre goalpost moving that is around 13-15 of 32 teams. You used Eli as comparison to baker. Can't imagine many would agree Eli is not well ahead of top 13-15 QB at his best.....ergo, your friend was far from nailing this as of now.

as is typical with you it's not in you to own that your "logic" is off base.

yep....maybe even 13-15.

LOL.

You making WAY too much of this.

He was projected to be a quality franchise QB.

Not a superstar.

Pretty damn simple.

You can play with semantics all you want.

Your numbers. Not mine.

Above average “franchise QB”

Many teams don’t have a franchise QB which changes the math quite a bit.

I am done with you.

@SteelersPride learned a hard lesson yesterday about fan duel betting. Missed out a life changing bet because we were too scared to pull the trigger since the bet was a long shot.

Remember that weird Bills bet that hit on Saturday?

i do, what happened

My brother text me on Saturday. Took a picture of a similar bet with the same amount that the guy put up for the Bills bet which was 1K but this was for the Saints/Chiefs game. The bet was the following:

Latavius Murray anytime TD scorer
Tyreek Hill anytime TD scorer
Taysome Hill anytime TD scorer
Mecole Hardman anytime td scorer
KC spread -2.5
Over 52.5 points

That bet ended up hitting but we never pulled the trigger. 1K would have got the 3 of us a total of $ 437,853.05

Yeah same for all us. I don't think I would ever do placed that much money on a bet unless I hit on one of my crazy bets and throw 1K back on a bet but we never played it for any money which was the disappointing part. Even a 50$ bet would have got us good money on that

if the Browns beat the Jets (which I of course THINK will happen- but by no means is a guarantee), and the Colts beat the Steelers.......then the Browns and Steelers would play for the Division Championship in the last week of the season.

and the really CRAZY think is--- i think there are actual scenarios, where if an 11-4 Browns team loses to the Steelers that week- they have a chance of missing the playoffs entirely.

I swear- if the Browns miss an expanded playoffs with 11 wins it would be the most Browns thing ever.

the Raiders game still really pisses me off.

of course no Chub, no Teller, Myles gets hurt and misses most of the game. The weather was terrible.

Gotta give the Raiders credit for that game---- but that is the one game this year where i think the Browns really blew it. Every team has one or two of those a year.

i hope that does not come back and bite them.

Pretty fucking hilarious that you have the audacity to knock me given your track record.

I guess you need to invent whatever narrative you can to make it look like other people can be wrong too?
