But you can't go off what happens historically with a team. What have they done this season and what's your argument for keeping them out of the playoffs that is for this season?
while I would not keep ND out for past CFP blowouts I do think this season - unlike how I feel about any other season - it is fair to look a little at how teams might have looked last year (at least with players who are still there). Just so hard to gauge teams this year.

Last year would not be my sole criteria for anyone - I mean, obviously, you cannot use it to prop up LSU who lost so many elite players. And if a team from BIG or PAC has a loss in so few games nothing from last season should save them.

Especially in college football where the rosters completely turn over every 3-4 years.
right...though I did just make a post where I said only because of the crazy season this is I think it's OK to look a little bit at what a team did last season, but only giving consideration to players who are still there and producing.

I might have to rearrange some furniture but I'll probably watch some of it....all seriousness night games are exciting but I hate the waiting. Give me Sunday at 1 if I get the choice. Cannot wait.

Mayfield's gonna do an interview on Monday Night Coutdown. Hope he doesn't look like an arrogant jackass. And the time difference. It sucks. I like the 6:20 start a lot better than the 8:20. I can stay up for the whole game.

And yet meeeechegan still sucks. Must be the coaching right?

Says it all that Michigan ran from Ohio State. You can use Covid as an excuse, but his team was still practicing throughout the week. It says a lot where I don't root for Michigan when they play Ohio State (a school that I hate for obvious reasons). Fuck Harbaugh.

It just looks bad. Minnesota just played a game missing 33 players. Ohio State played a game missing 23 players (3 starting OL & defensive play caller + the head coach). That's on meeeechegan though. And it just adds to Harbaugh failed legacy in ann arbor.

Next year, if I'm Ryan Day, I'm aiming for 80 on Michigan. Harbaugh's a bitch for trying to cost Ohio State a conference title and a shot at a natty (I still don't think they should go in based on playing less games than all of the other schools, but different discussion). I hate Ohio State, but if they're not going to win, I want it because they lost in an actual game.

im so nervous for this game.

i just dont have great feelings

the browns are still little brother against the steelers and ravens

until they actually win and punch them in the mouth its hard for me as a browns fan to have a lot of confidence- especially with how the earlier games went.

fields is prob the best QB i have seen at Ohio State.

I mean- Cardale was legendary during that run- and pryor was just a different type of athlete- he like glided down the field---- but Fields is probably the best qb the bucks have had as long as i have watched them

i really liked braxton miller too actually.

Yeah, I really can't remember any other QBs that would hold a candle to Fields. That's what has to make this Covid situation suck for Buckeye fans - you're the only team able to hang with Bama this year. Clemson has an outside shot.

I agree, but Ohio State needs to play more games. They'll get into the playoffs though, and are better than ND. I think the final 4 will be Clemson, Bama, ND and Ohio State.

unless we beat Clemson for a 2nd time then shit gets wild.

I can see them going with the Big 12 Champ over A&M or Florida
