Silver lining... You just pissed off the only undefeated team in the league... Like pouring gas on a bonfire.

I started taking it off when I was going my acctg courses to study. 1981.

Simple fact is the shitstorm would have been far greater had they allowed the game to be played and then the Steelers had an outbreak because of it.

I don't blame the players for upset but better for the players safety.
Honestly if the NFL had a good standard this wouldn't be an issue but since we are talking about the NFL it is a shitshow. They only care about player safety when it will make them more money. IE...if Ben got covid, missed 2 weeks and the Steelers fell to 10-2 (because we know they would since Rudolph sucks donkey balls) during that time it kills any narrative/stories the NFL could muster together.

Agreed, it would have been a great game on Thanksgiving.

It was definitely the best decision to postpone it. I want the Ravens to have a better chance for a competitive game.

The league should have had another game scheduled at that time as a Plan B in case that happened.

I guess this makes it all the more likely Pitt sits guys week 17. Especially Big Ben. It's shitty for fans that the only team(s) worth watching that day is cancelled but it is probably for the best. Fox will hype the Boys/ FT (damn, that FT shit is just weird) as a great rivalry game but it's hard to be enthusiastic. And its just time to dump any and all Detroit Thanksgiving games forever.

Actually, I kinda agree. No matter how good or shitty those teams might be, each T-Day I kinda look forward to seeing them host the first two respective games, strictly from a tradition standpoint. But I really was amped for that Ravens-Steelers battle later in the evening.

In all fairness this was the right move. Just sucks. Was really lookin forward to wearing my jersey on Thanksgiving for family pictures.

Smells like bullshit though with how they would be just fine without Dobbins, Ingram & Williams... They were demoralized & beat-up by the Titans. Funny thing is, Dobbins, Ingram & Campbell all tested positive so they won't even play Sunday anyway.

On another note... NFL bones the Steelers yet again. They took away their bye week because of the Titans breaking the rules, and then take away their week 13 mini-bye after TNF because the Ravens sucks at being diligent.

But they gave you the Redskins the week after so you still get your bye.
