LOL @ claiming to have played Augusta multiple times and not knowing enough about golf to know that this week was significantly easier than years past.
LOL! Tell that to DeChambeau and the other players who lost balls because there was no crowd.

It was late season and the course got plenty of rain plus the wind conditions were mild. It still doesn't diminish DJ's accomplishment.

DJ played great. I was rooting for him, though I wish it had been more competitive Sunday. But it wasn't the same tournament this year without the crowd and with the course playing so soft. The Sunday pin placement on 16 was just wrong too.

DeChambeau losts balls because the course was wet, he hits the ball high as fuck, and his ball plugged deep in the rough no where near where players typically drive the ball.

The fact of the matter is that this years scoring average was down significantly over the last several years.

A ball that would have easily been found any other year and he would have pitched it up on the green and made birdie instead of a 7. It was no easier this year.

Is that why after hitting his second shot to almost the same spot it took him 4 shots to get down from the rough?

LMFAO.

If you don't know why that happened you definitely don't play golf Cletus. LOL!

Doesn't everyone?

I mean it's the internet so I don't know why I'd lie about having a single digit handicap. If I wanted to lie why not just go for scratch?

Broke 80 for the first time at 14 and have been pretty much stuck there. Got as low as a 4 or 5 in the junior golf circuit. Been floating up closer to an 8 or 9 these days. Tough to play enough with two little ones. Although I'll be out there today and am playing Sawgrass in a couple weeks.

Oh, don't get me wrong; I wasn't impressed in the least that you were a single digit hindicapper; quite the opposite. Everyone I play with is at least that.
I learned a long time ago though that some of the most fun people to play with are bogey golfers.
PS: I would kill to play Sawgrass; especially #17

This is why ^ it's useless to try to interact with you. It's easy to demonstrate that the course was playing softer this year, by simply pointing to the record low average scores. Record low scoring is unassailable evidence that it was playing easier than usual this year.

But what is your response to that? "No it wasn't". :L

Do you get some sort of sexual gratification by trolling like that? Honestly, what's the draw?

I showed you that it wasn't easier. Many players, Woods, the defending champion included, scored far worse than last year. The fact that you can't see it, speaks to your ignorance of the game, not mine.
