"wasting" or "wasted"? :D
this whole career thing has changed you.

I'm actually sober. I spent most of the day drinking Bacardi from the bottle and intermittently passing out. I'm the white trash of the suburbs.

watched Open Season 2 this morn with the kid, and going tomorrow to see Despicable Me.
the trailers look good.

speaking of decent trailers, the one kind of reminds me of Heat

Open season 2 is on our list as well. Let me know how Despicable Me turns out.

the ONLY think I liked about Pittsburgh when I visited (long time ago, road trip to see a concert in Detroit, Canucks game in Pittsburgh, and we got snowed out from a Sabbath show in Dayton, so ended up in Toledo for an ECHL game) was that the restaurants let you bring in your own booze.

I was at some family-style pizza joint, and they weren't licensed, but they said we could bring our own in if we wanted. As luck would have it, we had a 60 oz of rum (maybe vodka?) in the car. So I trotted out to get it, plunked it down in the middle of the table (to the horror of the parents around us), and we proceeded to get pretty messy mixing with their fountain drinks. good times, good times.

I saw Inception tonight. It was awesome. Kind of Matrix-like, but without the wicked awesome martial arts and slow-mo, but with the plus of actual acting talent.

I will. My daughter (5) is a pretty big chickenshit when it comes to movies.
I think we allowed her too many years on Treehouse TV (Max & Ruby, Dora, etc), so actual plot activity scares her. 'Up' was a bit of a fiasco, but my wife and i were enjoying the movie so much that we just let the kid cower in fear for an hour. I wonder if that's going to come back and haunt me in therapy bills later in life :D

Brandon League has come into the game, so we are done now anyways.

edit... i noticed the Bard thing, but couldn't think of a snappy iambic pentameter couplet to come back with.
all my poetry begins with "roses are red"

I've liked what I've read of Shakespeare, but I haven't read nearly enough. Just MacBeth, Romeo and Juliet and Twelfth Night.

Was more of a pathetic attempt at rep.:D

But I do think my little joke was kinda clever.:)

Haha, I think "up" was actually a breakthrough movie for us in that aspect! It was iffy at first until the dog came out, then she loved it.

I've read almost every play and Romeo and Juliet is my least favorite BY FAR. I will never understand why we are forced to read that in school.

I hope he shows you his power soon. It's something to see. Think Jeff Clement with a Major League caliber approach.

He's hit 2 HRs since coming over, and is 3 for 4 tonight, so an encouraging start!

Of the three I've read, it was my least favorite as well. I don't like books that center around protagonists who make me facepalm every other page.
