just tuned in in time to see a cun grand slam. tuning back out now.
pretty incredible drop. tho robert's drop started well before that. abreu and anderson came back down to earth and nobody picked up the slack. starting pitching also seemed to drop off. i think this is more representative of the team's actual abilities right now. next year robert and moncada should get better but abreu might start to fall off. hoping eloy improves and i don't think we could ask for any more from madrigal (who looks really solid). still no rf and no dh. i can't read anderson at all. he may be a .300 hitter or a .250 hittier (right now he looks like a .200 hitter). catching will remain the same (passable) only we probably won't have mccann. rp looks good (hoping cordero, gio and fry are all gone) but i'm still unsure of the sp. 2 decent starters is still all i see. after that a crap-shoot (and i DO mean crap!).Was it just a little over a week ago that we were talking the division and possibly the #1 seed in the playoffs? The way things are going, we just might end the regular season with the 7th seed. Dayum!!
anderson hitting .100 with 14 k's during this 8 game streak. killing us!
encarnacion now holds the white sox record for the worst season's average batting just .157 ... and all for only $12 million. adam dunn is no longer the worst!
for an extra 2 mil they could’ve had marcel ozuna... nah... edwin and mazaraencarnacion now holds the white sox record for the worst season's average batting just .157 ... and all for only $12 million. adam dunn is no longer the worst!
you said a mouthful! he probably thought, "he's got 2 hits so he's a .500 hitter today!"nice to see the worst player on the team up to bat to decide the division with mccann sitting on the bench
