I did some similar analysis last year, tried to explain to some friends that once you get beyond RB 12-15 in half PPR, that WRs become more valuable, but it was like talking to a brick wall.

I forget the exact RB position it flips to WRs being more valuable, but it happens with that 13-24 group.

@MilkSpiller22 - I'm pretty sure this is just taking the top 24 RBs and 24 WRs total pts from the actual season and comparing the averages

I want to say it flips in WR advantage around RB15 or so, but can't remember when I looked at it using 2018 stats.

I used the info to stock up on good WRs in my work league, ended up taking 3rd. Would've won the whole thing if I had the stones to play Perriman the week Godwin got hurt vs Detroit

It flips when you start getting to the committee/time share type backs, which is normally in that range you're talking about. And it makes sense because workhorse backs that aren't splitting time are gonna get a lot of touches. With modern offensives incorporating pass catching RBs too, the starters that can do both are the most valuable. So its not like the old days where RBs strictly just ran. So the ones that can do both have the most value in any format.

But once you get a RB that is splitting time, they aren't getting the same opportunities as some of those other WRs, who might be a WR1 on their team so they're gonna see a good target share. They have more opportunities.

love that I picked up Love on a whim the other day. AP will be a good vet on some team.

Side note: some of the local radio guys think Armstead might be an IR candidate here in Jax. Pretty much Ozigbo or bust

I dunno, that undrafted dude in JAX starting to get some buzz too...grr.

The rotoworld blurb mentioned resigning AP after week one. I mean, sure, but isnt that a kick in the nuts? Thats shit you do with your 4th or 5th WR, or corner, or maybe your swing tackle, special teamers, punters, maybe a shaky veteran kicker... Not your starters, not your starting RB.

AP should go where hes always belonged, Texas. Technically, Dallas would make me happy, but Houston he might actually get some real PT

I was expecting this evening and tomorrow to be the big day, but dominos are beginning to fall early thus morning.

AP, and DareO cut already. It appears Shady will be the passing back in TB.

he can, but Shady's better at it :)

I'm sure Fourney gets more than a few, its just those obvious passing situations, Shady makes a better James White/Dion Lewis/Woodhead than the big boy

I know...well he was. Just trying to hype LF up for myself. He wont be getting close to the same volume he was expecting in Jax.

Well AP isnt a late round option now. So who is Washington’s top back? Love, Barber...Gibson I think could see a much expanded role

The said thing is, I can see them giving Barber some run. He is the most senior back, and has had the most "success ".

But I gotta believe it'll be Love and Gibson, with Gibson eventually being the guy..even if that plays on until 2021

If both are/can stay healthy, that is a young core that can help a bad team.

Haha, well, like they say every draft, the RB is the easiest transition from college to pro, so Im sure if the kid is coach able, and by all accounts he is, he'll make that transition eventually.

I would tend to agree with whoever Benjamin Solak is though. It'd be a stretch to assume he's leading the backfield this year. I dunno, maybe way late, if that.
But, if he can get around 3 touches to every 5-6 for Love/Barber, its easy to foresee a scenario where he produces more fantasy value.
