You can't stop Jannik Hansen, you can only hope to contain him.

It appears than Hansen's hands have caught up with his feet...Two years ago he doesn't score those type of goals.

The Canucks bring back Bill Sweatt from Chicago after David Booth is injured in last night's game.

hmmm I thought he was gone from this organization.

Looks like it. Definitely some offensive potential there.

I almost spit out my drink last night when I heard Valk compare him to Gretzky. LOL

That was his brother Lee who is no longer in the organization, or pro hockey for that matter. He retired to work in the financial industry, which is funny cause I'd love to retire to play professional hockey!

Okay, so I wasn't hearing things in the post-game, Garrrrrrry Valk did use Hansen and Gretzky in the same sentence.

I think I heard Garrett say that was Porter's first penalty all season...

does shanaban even look at either hit that caused injury?

Jones swung his elbow pretty good at Bieksa ... no matter how accidentally (on purpose) it was

and Porter layed that knee out there for all to see

PLAYER SAFETY right? onus on the guy doing the hitting?

I'm pretty sure all five minute major penalties all reviewed, jstew, so Shanaban will take a look at the Porter knee-on-knee hit on Booth...

i guess what im asking is ... will it be a token review and a conclusion of "oh well ... he got 5 and a game ... thats enough"

PITB speaks the truth

Amazing to think that, two weeks ago, a David Booth injury would have been met with shrugs. Now we're all biting our nails

Vigneault said Higgins, who watched the game from the press box with his leg elevated, will accompany the Canucks on their five-game road trip which begins Thursday in Montreal.

"The pills are working (on the infection)," Vigneault said. "Right now what needs to happen is where they cut his foot open, that needs to close."
