Pure shooter? I don’t know. Probably a few.

But you are quoting stats from a drill. And I am telling you a lot of NBA shooters can hit 90% + 3s in drills.

Definitely a great story in terms of his development and rise to prominence. I am just telling you the shooting drill stats you quoted aren’t as great as you think compared to other top shooters.

The only thing that separates him is he is 6 foot 8

The name from Ohio State that most resembles Duncan of late is Jon Diebler

You know what he shot in college from 3 his senior year?

51 percent lol

Duncan was 38

Have you seen Lebron practice his 3's? You would think he is the best shooter ever lol. Yeah even centers who don't shoot 3's look pretty good in drills

It's a shame that the Grizzlies have the tiebreaker over the Suns. The Suns would crush them.

The Kings need to blow things up anyway. Vlade totally screwed up by not drafting Luka, and this team is the perfect example of a mediocre NBA team. Not bad, but not good either. Keep Fox and hope that Bagley can become a star, and then look to trade Hield and anyone else they can get some decent to good return for.

SPURS playoff streak looks like its over.
It sucks that they are missing out, merely by playing less games than the Grizzlies/Suns.

They actually would beat out both of those teams if they had the same number of games played.
The Blazers at least have the true tiebreaker, but still are only getting in by playing 3 more games.
In theory the Spurs could go (3-0) and finish ahead of them as well.

The unbalanced schedule ended a great achievement in Sports.

Yeah, this percentage points thing is ridiculous. The NBA should've made some provision for that. It looks like the Spurs will finish with less losses than those teams.

He would have to.
He’s under contract next season.
He’s already becoming more than just a 3 point shooter, which you would know if you had been watching Heat games.
He’s motivated in general. Knowing payday is a year away, he’s going to try to really add to his game this offseason.

As far as the 20M, maybe its high? Maybe not? I saw a twitter conversation where ‘some’ were suggesting a max. I was just running with that.
Even if its 10-15M, hes earned the right to a nice payday.
Obviously not as many as you but I've seen some of their games. Before and in bubble. course didn't see much of him last year as he didn't play much.

I'm sure he's motivated. and is a nice story. But gonna need to do more for that big a payday. $10-15 mil? Seems more reasonable.

Boban with 48 fantasy points today

But it feels like it doesn't equal in court success even though he always packs points real quick in a short span

Trivia question. Who is Ohio's all time leading scorer? Jon Diebler, LeBron or Luke Kennard.

Yeah.

Everybody can make 3s today.

Even guys who don’t shoot them well enough to take them in games hit at a surprisingly high rate in 1 - 0 shooting drills.

Spurs did a ton better in the bubble than I expected. I called 2-6 or 1-7. The future is looking really bright if guys like Forbes/Belinelli get less minutes, and Keldon Johnson and Derrick White can take their spots. The youth movement is underway in San Antonio, and while the streak is over and it sucks, I'm really happy with what I've seen from the young guys and hope that's the direction they go next season as well.

The Spurs look deep, young, and scary.

The Bubble screwed them over by not letting them play the same number of games as MEM/POR/PHO.
There is nothing that can be done about 71 games for SA versus 74 for MEM/POR.

but on the plus side, the bubble also allowed Popovich to see what the young kids can do.
They look great....when not being held back by older fading vets like Aldridge, Mills, and Belinelli.

Pop has a swagger in his step now. He looks like he wants to coach another 5 years and see what all this talent can do.

I'm jealous that the Spurs keep finding guys in the mid to late first round. I wanted the Warriors to draft Keldon Johnson, but they pull a surprise and take Jordan Poole, which doesn't look like a very good decision right now.

That NBA 1st round schedule is so fucking ass. Showed they don't care about fans.

Starting a playoffs game at 1/130 PM EST in the middle of the week while people are at work with no bars open is probably the stupidest decision made by the commish.

I'm sure accommodating 16 NBA teams in the bubble isn't exactly easy.
