Had a colleague who got transferred out to Arizona. He and his girlfriend were avid climbers, and they named their dog "caribiner" after those climbing loops.

They called him "'Biner" (pronounced Beaner) for short. Made no difference in Massachusetts, but he got a lot of looks in Arizona.

I don't get some people with their methodologies to naming their kid.

It's only a matter of time before an avid couch potato names their kid "Arm Chair" or "Lazy Boy"
