A little off topic, but here goes:

1)I'm definitely not watching Snoozeapalooza 2.
2)The Sugar Bowl, whether I agree with the bowl selection or not, does look like it could be an interesting game. This could be the only one I watch.
3)Having said that, I'm still gonna tweet #BoycottTheBCS. My main concern is my Gators, and watching them play. Yes I would watch them in a poorly chosen BCS game, as I expect everyone to do.
4)I don't blame the fans of Alabama, VT, Michigan nor the teams/coaches for wanting to be in the best bowl possible, ''deserved'' or not.
5)What would be nice to see is fans of these teams(and a few have) recognize that there are teams with better resumes who have more valid arguments for being in that bowl.
6)Yes, I'm talking about the Bama ''fans'' who claim their team is 2nd best even when presented with facts that show otherwise.

Boise St. deserves a spot, no doubt. Alabama does as well. After that,the last two at large births are a crap shoot at best. In my opinion, MSU and Virginia Tech should be in.

Thats why I said ''perceived''. Even though the B1G has been routinely hammered by the SEC and PAC in bowl games, they are still perceived as a strong conference.

The ACC, to most, is seen as a slightly better BE, and people want the BE stripped of their AQ status. So 2 ACC teams making the BCS doesn't make sense on the surface.

It also doesnt help VT's case that in a prior season we watched them lose to Boise State, an FCS team, then win the ACC only to get badly beaten by Stanford in a BCS bowl.

VT can use the Sugar Bowl to change the perception by beating the piss out of Michigan. Hell, look how long BSU rode that win over Oklahoma(even though TCU has done it as well).

I hadn't thought about that. Maybe Delaney feels Michigan has a good chance to beat VT. At least a better chance than other options out there.

I think Wisconsin will beat Oregon, so the B1G going 2-0 in BCS bowls this year would be a big bragging point.

Va Tech and Texas have never faced each other in a BCS bowl. You boys can't even beat KU (the football team, not the basketball team) in a BCS bowl. Again, VA Tech shats themselves when they have to play ranked teams outside their weak as hell conference. That scenario is old and played out......
