Abe Lucas is the best lineman in the conference, no matter what you little Ducks want to think. Hence the only running play Leach ran for the past 3 years was to the right. Dillard was a first round pick only because teams were forced to line up their best end against him and only rushed 3.

No one believes that.

Sewell won the Outland Trophy. He's an All American. He'll be a top3 pick in the NFL draft.

Vince Young net worth and salary: Vince Young is a former NFL player who has a net worth of negative $1.5 million. Vince Young was born on May 18, 1982 in Houston, Texas. He attended the University of Texas at Austin.

Reggie was greedy at 20 yrs old but he's not an idiot. Vince Young well that's another story.
So VY was the one who outed Bush? Or are you just blaming VY?

So VY was the one who outed Bush? Or are you just blaming VY?

Just showing an example between idiot and greedy. Reggie and family were greedy. Vince Young is an idiot. How he graduated from a college without actually being taught something is a bigger travesty. Reggie since the scandal has done pretty well for himself.

Well getting better in a conference that only had USC at the time as a national power means you were getting better at beating PAC teams. When you are judged against all the teams that tells you if you are really better. If a team wins the PAC but ends up ranked 18th. That is not a good sign. But you've been the best in the PAC for a couple years now. So gotta see if USC can step up .
pac was weird in those times USC was the only constant everyone else took turns as co champs or runners up.

2008-#3 #10 Oregon runner up

people also liked to talk about it being USC and everyone else but ignored the records that at least 1 other team had 10 or more wins.

but like i said USC was the only consistent team.

Without actual conference championship games those teams were "co champs" only because they didn't have to play USC for the title at the end . They would have all gotten destroyed. USC whet 6 out of 7 on their BCS games against higher ranked teams than those co champs. Their only loss was the thriller at the Rose Bowl against Texas.

2002 they were co champs and WSU beat USC that season

we've also seen it can be hard to beat the same team 2x in a season.
2014 Oregon lost to Arizona in the regular season 31-24 but destroyed Arizona in the P12CG 51-13
so no telling how those games would have gone

I think that's part of what the problem was. There wasn't a consistent challenger to USC.

So, to those outside the conference, it looked like USC and 9 little brothers.

The funny thing is, during the PC era, for the most part, only PAC teams could beat us.

Yet, it was a "weak conference". lol

I said beat them in the conference championship game. If there's one thing Pete had going was as the season went along the teams got better and better and by the end of the season he had them playing at their best. Thats why they only lost the one BCS game with him .

The 2008 USC @ UCLA Game is on ESPNU this morning. A PERFECT College Football Rivalry Game. I had the pleasure of going to the 2004 game. Nothing better than the Cali-Pac Rivalry games to me (as a neutral).
